Railroad Fish & Chips reviews
14Amazing food. The tartar sauce was tangy and cocktail sauce had such a crisp horseradish flavor. The fish and chips came out piping hot and delicious. This place is a true gem!
Great place to eat when visiting 'Old Sac'. A wide variety of food was very tasty, especially the fish and chips. Service was outstanding and very friendly. A wide selection of condiments & sauces. Plenty of seating, even when it was a busy lunchtime.
Fish & Chips were flavorful and delicious! The Clam Chowder is good. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area.
@Sacramento old town
Saw inside is Asian cooker, so decided to try their egg roll! 6 pcs &6.99, so crispy and delicious. Chowder also is great!
Set outside in July is crazy hot, and floor so many garbage , felt like eat in the Landfill ,lol
We had Fish and Chips and a cheeseburger. Absolutely loved it! The fish is sooo tender, it melted in the mouth, literally. (It came with ketchup and ranch) The dining place is outdoors (which was super hot), made in an old style with wooden everything (not that clean though). Self-catering. We spent like 10 minutes searching for a parking space. Parked 3 minutes away (on foot). Pretty crowded (was Sunday)

The fish and chips and tacos we’re amazing!

Service was okay, they served the food out of the counter and you had to find your own seating.

Ambiance was okay, the outside was very chilly but the food made up for it

No doibt, the best shrimp tacos anywhere in Sacramento. Chowder is delicious always. My go to when in Old Sacramento.
Gotta stop here every time I'm in old sac, if only for an order of the onion rings.fried food is hot and crispy, clam chowder is filling and warming.coleslaw is light on the mayo if you're into that
They have the BEST FISH AND CHIPS ever! It's really good. The clam chower is alright.
Busy quick-service style place right in the Old Sacramento. Maybe not the fastest service ever but the surroundings are nice enough.
Good food. We had the calamari and chips and a cup of clam chowder. All were pretty darn good. The only thing that kinda sucked was the service. Not very organized. Oh we also had the vegi burger. That was really good.
I tried the cod, fish and chips. It was very light. It was delicious and I believe it was very well priced. Overall a very great experience, friendly stuff and very nice service.
Fish and chips have been my favorite for a while and after seeing they had fish, shrimp and chips I was delighted. The breading was really good and the portions are huge. I was not able to finish my food but a great place to go to near the waterfront with really good food.
Sitting outside enjoying a wonderful afternoon eating hamburgers and french fries with my son. Typical greasy spoon. Hamburgers are really good. French fries are really good. They also have seafood which I have dabbled in. Tonight we had the clam chowder sourdough bread bowl which was absolutely delicious! Typically we have the cheeseburger french fries meal with a bottle of Orange soda. Parking is limited unless you use the parking garage under the freeway one block away. Lots of people but there is typically enough seating for everyone. Highly recommended
