I have used Richard of Rainbow painting since around 2012 he has painted outside and inside two of my homes. I have found that they are prompt, reasonable, and very professional. There was a lot of dry rot that they repaired without charging extra. They take the time to do it right with excellent prep. His crew are honest hard workers and cheerfully work together. I was in the process of moving and when they saw me (old widowed lady) trying to move some big stuff they took over! I highly recommend them for any painting job.

Richard and his crew did a beautiful job painting the exterior of my house. I watched all the prep, which if you have ever painted a house, is the most important and detailed part of the job. This was performed expertly as were all other parts of the job. These guys had to work in Santa Barbara on this job when the rains were heavy so many days no one could work, but as soon as they could, they were back on the job picking up where they had left off. My house looks fresh and refreshed. Richard was great keeping touch which was much appreciated.

Richard and his crew did a great exterior paint job on my house. Prior to the painting my house was the obvious ugly duckling on the street. After the painting, a neighbor liked the transformation so much that he repainted some of his house in a similar color pattern (he said that our colors motivated him), and replaced his door to get something like the deep, rich coloring of our newly stained door. Richard was extremely helpful in picking these colors - we would not have ended up with the great scheme we now have without him. Rainbow painting was all about getting the details and prep right. The underside roof on my porch had knot holes visible through the paint, after who knows how many prior paint jobs. Richard's crew switched from water based to multiple layers of oil based to be sure they wouldn't show any more. We had many small imperfections in the siding, and lots of old and ugly visible caulking, that due to repeated passes and care now look perfect. The workmen were all friendly and clearly liked working together. Richard came by every day to make sure things were going well, and did some of the door staining himself. These are your guys if you want a high quality paint job at a reasonable price from a friendly crew (I got a handful of estimates and they were in the middle of the pack).
