They were a lot better. Staff changes. Young employees that change almost every we go in. They try to be helpful. Prices are not always the same as marked.

Best live BSF larvae aka Phoenix worms for chickens. Has just about every feeder and bait worms u can get as well as crickets and other feeder insects. Also large Madagascar hissing roaches.

First time there today. Cashiers were nice and helpful! Picked up some crickets for my Son's Orange Bearded Dragon.

So, this is one of the best places to order feeder insects if you are unable to breed them or purchase locally. Even then, Rainbow mealworms has amazing prices compared to some local stores. You can purchase 1000 mealworms for just $8! That's less than what I pay for a 100 count at Petco.
I raise praying mantises and so far, Rainbow mealworms has been the only reliable website that has the insects I need. I'm unable to culture my own roaches right now so their flies and banded crickets are why I can own mantises in the first place. Mantises go bonkers for any flying food and banded crickets are a healthy cricket variety they can eat. Just always make sure to keep the cricket set up clean to prevent diseases!

Rainbow Mealworms is hands-down the best option for buying your insects. I am a pet store retailer and have been ordering from them for 3 years. Great store and great prices! Friendly staff for the most part. All the inside staff is friendly and fast paced. Except for the girl with the colored hair. I believe purple, she doesn’t seem to enjoy her job and seems annoyed when customers ask questions.
