RAKIRAKI Ramen & Tsukemen reviews
18Really great restaurant, great staff, food was excellent, I'll be going back to try some of the other dishes. Dotter is a vegetarian and a lot of things to choose from, for those who have a vegetarian in your family or friends you know how hard it is to find a place that will satisfy both of you, this is the place.
I picked up food from this restaurant three times recently, and the two of three pick-up experiences were terrible. First pick-up order was made through the official website, and when I arrived for the food in about one hour, conversation with server Riley started like this: "your food is not available, we don't have the dishes you want" "Why not cancel the order or call me if it is not available? " "Oh, too busy. " "Could you help me change to some other dishes? " “I couldn’t do it either. You have to order something else and pay again. ”. There was no apology, no sense of responsibility from the restaurant at all. Isn’t customer’s time also precious and respectable? So, please double check if your food is available before ordering online.
The second experience was made through a phone call. The pickup experience was not problematic until I picked up at the restaurant for the third time. I realized the second order was charged with a higher price than the menu shows. Another server confirmed with me that it should not be correct with the price I paid for the second order. One could ask me for a tip, but manipulating prices is not acceptable. Please double check your receipt if you pick up from the restaurant by calling them directly.
If the restaurant manager could see it, please consider meticulously if Riley is qualified to represent the reputation for your restaurant. Your restaurant food is special, but your pick-up server is terrible.
The most flavourful ramen I ever had! I'm visiting SD and went twice in 2 weeks. It's also very busy but the line moves fast. The only thing is the chairs inside are not comfortable especially if you are plus size but putting a sweater down on the chair to cushion your bum helps a lot.
I love the ramen here. The soup is not too thick either too thin. Perfect! Noodles is tasty.
This place is notorious for cancelling numerous of my orders after confirmation. Doesn't even call that my order was cancelled. The lamest sorry you would ever received!
I mean the food is good but the menu is way too Confucius? _? The online menu is 12 pages long. I felt like I was reading a book. Also, it’s not well organized.
Very good. Busy restaurant with an extensive menu, also offering a vegan selection
They have a chicken noodle soup ramen that was just like moms home cooked soup.
I will definitely go to this place again
Super delicious Tonkotsu Ramen! Loved their unique packaging of the broth separate from the other ingredients!
Terrible service and subpar food that led to food
poisoning (if you're curious, we had the original hakata
tonkotsu, the rakiraki roll, and the chicken teriyaki don
rice bowl). Avoid the long wait and go literally anywhere
else in the surrounding area.
The food is incredible. Only getting half my online order cuz they were out if stuff was not awesome though.
Good bang for the buck. Ramen texture is perfect, ajitama is of perfect consistency and temperature, and the ramen is perfectly portioned. Restaurant is very clean and well decorated. Jason, our server, is a good dude. More so, the presentation and plating was excellent and not something i would expect for food of this price point. The food looked as good as it tasted.
Walking in is a great and busy fill its always packed, I suggest coming here with group of 4 or so. The food was really good. Highly suggest the Curry Ramen Bowl. It took a long for them to take our order after seating and along time to get our check but I understand that there is a shortage of employees and it is always busy at this location but please be patient with the employees and workers.
TERRIBLE hostess (3pm PST) - complaining about her job, lazy, a bit arrogant, bad attitude, constantly on her cell phone, slow to fix available tables. AWSOME WAITRESS - attentive, knowledgeable (Keyla - 3: 30pm to 4: 25 pm)
Menu was too long, overly complicated, and there was not clear communication with the server and menu. Service was quick to order but not for drink refills
My favorite place for ramen, the best I've ever had. Waiters are really nice and make for an enjoyable dine in experiance.
Service was really backed up, as expected from any restaurant this popular and of this quality.
Been here numerous times and have enjoyed every visit. The staff is very friendly and the food is what you would get in Japan.
The food here is so good! I haven't had the best of luck finding vegetarian friendly ramen so I was very excited that this place had one, and I ALWAYS get it! My husband and I usually get food from here delivered but the last time I ate here with friends, we dined in. It's pretty small and the tables are pretty close together but the staff was so friendly and very attentive.
