Five stars because this cozy place is exactly as it should be, and has great food and friendly service. Recommend the Tako Yaki and bao options. Great draft beer selection!

We were greeted at the door by a friendly face and directed to sit at one of the booths.

We looked through the menus and asked a few questions. We decided to order the Rainbow sushi rolls, Salmon Skin rolls, Salmon rolls and Salmon Nigiri. All were delicious, but I was expecting the nigiri Salmon to be a bit more fresh.

We also had a beer, I belive it was called Saporro. My partner enjoyed it a lot.

In this occasion the Padres's game had been delayed and we asked if they could put the Yankees game on, the workers/oweners were really nice and put the game on for us.

Over all a really nice atmosphere.

The waiters were so friendly and such a fun chill vibe! Really tasty food I recommend the shiitake Rakitori and BBQ Rakitori! The decoration inside is nice and fun to sit at the bar

Food is quality! Not easy to do for some restaurants. Wish this “Pub” served pitchers of beer. Please turn on A/C if it’s warmer than 75 degrees.

Excellent food, drinks and service. This is the only place where I can find pork belly done right. So crispy yet melts in your mouth. Can't wait to go back.

Nice happy hour. Had the tako yaki app and the tuna tartar and 2 beers. Would come back. AC was running and noce atmosphere, friendly staff

This place was so tasty and this place did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the beef tongue and garlic. My favorite was the perfectly cooked baby octopus it was basted with a sweet sticky sauce that caramelized on the grill. The cocktail I got was their signatur mule made with soju! Our server Minn was also super attentive and I Can’t wait to go back and try the ramen and sushi.

The servers were nice and very helpful, answering questions we had concerning the menu. Ramen tasted good, and had a lot of flavor. Apparently the kimchi ramen was too spicy so if you can't handle spicy foods, I recommend getting something else.

The edamame and green chili also tasted good, first time having those as appetizers.
Their mochi is decently priced and a good dessert after having some spicy ramen.

I would recommend this place if looking for some good Japanese food.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Food was quite tasty and filling, at a decent price of about 15$ per meal or so. The environment is nicely quiet but has a great choice in background music. Good selection of drink as well. Really enjoyed the whole experience. I recommend the mango mochi)

A cute, cozy dine-in environment with friendly staff and genuinely good food and drinks! A great place to meet with friends; I will definitely be coming again.

Super rude waitress it took her 25 minutes to bring us a cup of water the food wasn’t cooked to our liking. Super negative vibe cheers to next time around

Awful awful restaurant, when I walked in I felt very unwelcome! Almost as if my presence wasn't welcome and they would take very strong action against me being there!

Didn't get service for like 10 minutes while I waited at the entrance, would not visit again!

3 stars for service and vibe. They were great. The food on the other hand was sorely mediocre. I'm not convinced the tonkatsu ramen wasn't chicken Maruchan with some extra toppings. The noodles were weird, the broth was thin and extremely chickeny, the bulgogi was good though. Sushi rolls were a bit soggy and bland. They were a bit warm too, strangely. Like a supermarket roll almost. Hope I don't get food poisoning!

Great place. Bunch of low skilled uber eats drivers that are upset that they can't infest the lobby while they wait for pick up orders. Immature mindless children. This place is awesome, ignore influx of low star reviews.

Really authentic experience. Try the Yuzu hot sake if you like citrus!
Very good food. I do wish they had a futo maki with pickled vegetables in it.

If you're new here, the waiter will explain all the items on the menu. They are very friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely worth giving a try and tasting some of the good flavors they have to offer!

I really wish I would’ve taken pictures. This place is super cute it has a nice ambience. Lots of detail to the decor of the restaurants and that’s why I’m gonna give it two stars. The food was overpriced and not seasoned.
I think I paid $11 for one lamb chop and it was Burned with no seasoning. Total disrespect to the lamb chop. I got the salmon The portions were for a three year old toddler You literally get for slithers of salmon for $13 The pieces were the size of if you were to put your two thumbs together maybe not even that big. Pork belly was not seasoned. What made it even sadder is that they were at the bar eating a pizza and I really wanted a slice. The Ramen was just ok Another positive is When we told him the lamb chop was burned and Not seasoned He did not argue he took it off. The Cala pillar roll was good. Do not go here if you’re expecting a good tasty dinner and you’re trying to get full. Only go here for cute date a couple of appetizers while you share a soda. I don’t think it’s worth it’s the cost you’re paying for the ambience. I’m not even going to start to tell you about the man who was throwing a long knife into the bus stop bench and talking to him self right in front. Yep Will not be returning. But the ice cream shop across the street was bomb

Rakitori never disappoints! The service is amazing and Tina, our server, was very attentive. We ordered the Spicy Tonkatsu, Black Tonkatsu, Takoyaki, edamame, and strawberry nigori.

I appreciate them limiting seating and the cleanliness! Parking is not the greatest as it’s street parking only, but it’s definitely worth it:)

The public should know that this place is being brigaded with fake negative reviews by Uber eats and other delivery drivers.
This business has limited capacity for takeout orders, and told delivery drivers to stay outside until the food is ready for takeout.

Bland soup, not impressed for the price. Also when you’re waiting to be seated there’s a sign telling delivery drivers to sit in their car and they’re not allowed to enter till food is ready. Seems very odd.
