Ralphs, Los Angeles CA

They're advertised closing time is 1: 00 a.m. Although I got there at 12: 49 a good 11 minutes before closing time and they refuse to let me in I only wanted one item and I ran to this location to make sure I would get here before the 1: 00 advertise closing time they refuse to let me in anyway if you're going to close at 12: 50 you should state that for your customers I find this to be very poor customer service in the sense that they're advertised closing time is not the time that they actually close a huge inconvenience thanks a lot guys

2 recent issues.
1) I have bought food there and found it months expired. They claimed it wasn't possible then I showed them on the shelf other expired items including the Kroger brand prepared meats which were being stocked by an employee as I stood there with 2 month expired pork products.
2) I called the store to check for dry ice and the phone just rung for over an hour. I called corporate and they had no item listings for individual stores so they called and were unable to get an answer either. The next day I called 3 times and each time the phone was picked up then immediately hung up with no attempt at answering.
Seems Ralph's needs new management as the current management is rude and incompetent and refuses to do their job.
Also beware mold as it has been a major issue at that store after the work they did.

Came here at 1: 45 AM because the website says it’s open until 2 AM just to be told they closed at 1 AM. The issue has been going on for a month I see reading all the reviews.

1) did you know that Ralphs is the guy’s last name? It’s not Ralph’s, but Ralphs. So it’s not Ralph’s store; Mr. Ralphs is the store! Mind blown.
2) Ralphs in LA are hit or miss. This one gets a 6/10. It’s okay but nothing exceeds expectations. For comparison, the one a little south of here on La Brea gets a 1/10. The one on la Brea and 3rd gets a 10/10. Wilshire and Hauser - 8/10.

The store on La Brea was up until this week my fav. Place to shop. Until my husband lost my card and the guard treats me as if I m lying to him guys I have nothing better to do then cone hares u guys. But I had yo fight in front of all those custumers and repeat my last 4 digits to him loudly like twice so I m never going back there if thats how they treat people I m good. That store needs stars took back yo!

This is probably my favorite place to shop for groceries.

It's clean brightly lit and always well stocked.

Love most that they are open from 5: 00 in the morning until 1: 00am the next.

They don't make you prove you're vaccinated, but you have to wear a mask. Social distance markers or still used and observed. All the cashier booths are surrounded by protective plexi as well.

I just went to this Ralph's, and got there a full 5 minutes before they closed to find 6 other people standing at the locked entrance doors, motioning to the security guard inside. He only came to the door to let a customer out and when this woman pointed out that it was not yet 1 o'clock, he mumbled something nobody could here and locked the door right in our face. Very rude. And the website still says that it's open til 2 a.m.

My go to shopping for any groceries however using instacart app has been helping me even more now especially during pandemic, but still would not mind going there.

This Ralph's is really well stocked. It has tons of parking. Best of all, it's the Rock N Roll Ralph's.lol!

Give that man Dan in the liquor department a raise. I asked if you guys had shots and your first employee completely blew me off. Dan came over without me asking him and got me what I needed! 10/10 Give Dan something, a raise, a star, or some sort of appreciation.

The managers are ignoramouses. When I was in there yesterday, they refused to enforce the mandate requiring all shoppers to wear masks. (I had asked another shopper to put on a mask and he refused.) The managers claim that unlike a law, a mandate is unenforceable. They are wrong. UPDATE: I spoke to an operator at police headquarters. She told me that the police are not enforcing the mask mandate, and that people have a choice as to whether or not they want to wear a mask in a store. But doesn't a store (manager) have the right to set their own policies and refuse service to anyone they wish? Of course they do. At most other supermarkets and retail store, it is posted to the effect, "YOU HAVE TO WEAR A MASK TO SHOP IN THIS STORE. " I bet you there are other Ralph's stores that DO require masks.

Actually I just moved here from Texas and visited this place for the first time. The store look decent but I was not aware of the membership procedure so I thought about asking to cashier about it while checking out. My cashier names was Cynthia v. There was one guy infront of me and he basically has only one item to check out. He was flirting with her and she flirted back. It was going on for solid 15 minutes. Well I had no problem with that. When it was my turn I just asked simple question about membership she tried to rush me without answer. This is extremely unprofessional. She should use her company time to genuinely help the customer not flirting ughhh I ll report this to corporate. The lunch lady at the food counter was awesome and helpful though. 10 star for her

Terrible service, came in the store to buy some detergent. While I was walking an employee of Ralph's has commented that I need to wear a mask. I replied that I am vaccinated, he said he doesn't care. I mean for real why so rude bro, I vaccinated so you wouldn't hallucinate about your Corona virus?

New to the neighborhood. This is my second visit in a week and everyone is extremely nice. Exceptional service by the Store Manager Jose.

5 different times coming to this location and missing baskets. I had to look for them and clean them like it's my job. So unsafe. Bad customer service.

The place was clean, comfortable, and stylish. Eventually, this store was the best! Besides, I have a great day making groceries here.

There is always a crazy kind of disorganized thing going on at this location. Everyone that works here has a "whodunit" look on their face. I would suggest shopping at any other location if possible. This one us not sane
