Ramona's Restaurant, Beaumont CA

The waitress was great but the food was terrible. Maybe they had a bad night but everything was bland and didn’t taste right. My stomach has been hurting ever since.

First time here Came in for tacos at lunchtime. The place wasn't busy, and we received our tacos quickly, but sat and waited for our check for a good 20 minutes. The tacos were ok. I had the chili verde, my friend had the carne asada. Both meats could have used more seasoning. The salsa could've been a little spicy.

Everything was amazing. You must try there shredded beef nachos. It feeds at least 4 and everything is made fresh right down to their homemade chips and guac

Stopped here on the way to a conference in Arizona, one of the few restaurants open at 7: 30 in the area on a Tuesday.

The kid running the front desk looked like he had lost a dog or relative and was more annoyed than welcoming. He told us to sit wherever we'd like, I grabbed the only open booth.

A few minutes later, he comes over with menus looks at me and walks straight back with menus still in hand. No "welcome" or "thank you for coming", nothing. So odd I thought, but then he came right back and said "can you get up, I have to clean this table? " No "I'm sorry, I have to clean this" or "please allow me to clean this. " Again, super odd welcome.

A few minutes went by and this really nice server came to our table and things were perfect from that point on. She was welcoming, told us about the song playlist we were enjoying, and laughed a joke a told about my wife being from Orange County.

The carne asada was delicious, my wife had what looked like a giant flauta and a taco. She ordered a margarita that was nearly overflowing (definitely not complaining).

We'd go here again for sure. I'd have to guess that it is the best restaurant in the area, great food and a cool little atmosphere.

Best green sauce I ever had. They sell it too. I was so happy. At 1st I didn't get very good service but then it turned into almost perfect. I think the owner took over and got me my chips cause she saw I was waiting. Really nice place can't wait to go back. They really care about good service and their food.

This is normally one of our go to’s but this week they were “off”. Good wasn’t as good as normal and service was a bit abrasive. The bus boy was amazing though. Won’t prevent us from going back just an off day I hope.

Food was not that great. Being Hispanic you tend to want Spicy. None of their food I was told by the establishment is spicy because some people don't like spicy. Well what about the other people that do? When I reminded the waitress for water she literally snapped and seemed bothered because I asked her. First and last time visit to Ramona's!

I'm not sure what happened. Maybe the changed hands. The food was very generic and greasy. Only tge dinner salad was good. Sorry to check and old favorite off.

I have eaten at Ramona’s for over 30 years. We took my Mom to lunch for her 84th BDay. We “literally” sat there for at least 20 minutes and only received 3 out of our 4 drinks (there were 4 of us). Never received chips or salsa - no order ever taken. When my niece told the waitress we were leaving and said something about the service - there was no offer to simply apologize and take our order - we simply had to pay for the drinks we had received. I saw the owner in the kitchen and I am totally shocked that there was ZERO Customer Service offered. Restaurants need repeat business - I will go to La Casita from now on. TOTALLY surprised at the TOTAL “lack” of service.

It was my 8th birthday the first time I ate at Ramona's, I am 48 now. I have lived and traveled all over the US and the world, but I keep coming back to Romona's for over 40 years for a reason. It's just the best plate of nachos that you're going to get anywhere.

Great food and prices especially if you go on Tuesdays but both times that I've gone service was really slow.

Order a California burrito the meat was shredded beef or something it wasn't Carne asada the horchata tasted like water chips came with like 4 salsa containers that tasted like juice from pico de gao.overall I'll never eat here again waste of money

I always love the Gil’s nasty burrito, tonight we arrived about 15 mins before closing and they cooked one for me, the nicest people run this lovely place.

Pleasant atmosphere and service. Food was good but not completely authentic. For starters I didn't see any Mexican cheese, alot of mild cheddar. Their salsa was okay. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine this is not it. More Americanized than Mexican. That said, again, there was nothing bad with the food except the lack of authenticity.

To Anna Medina, the person claiming that the waitress was the nasty, rude, disrespectful person in this situation, this is ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE. Your fictional novel bashing a teenage young lady who was working very hard to serve an entire restaurant that was very busy is absolutely sad and you should be ashamed of yourself. You're an elderly woman who should know better, YOU were the person yelling and screaming and causing a scene. You twisted the story to fit your narrative. The person who ended up coming out of the kitchen was an owner who heard you screaming and came to protect her employee. When an entire restaurant applauds after YOU leave, it is obvious of who the real B. H was. And by the way Anna you are bullying a minor, you must be a bitter old woman and that is why you are never welcomed here and probably many other places. May God change your angry ways.

Ramona's has THE BEST Mexican food.the BEST! I try to go at least a few times a month.

The food is always delicious, and served hot! The women who work there are always kind and friendly.
