As with Chicago pizza places, getting the deep dish will take some waiting time as they are made to order. Excellent pizza!

THE BEST Deep Dish Pizza in Long Beach! I ordered two deep dish pizzas, the maple, bacon wings & cheese bread sticks! It was all delicious I am here visiting from Chicago & this is hands down the best deep dish pizza in LB! I am a foodie & we love pizza, we definitely know our pizza & place his was wonderful! Thank You! We were too hungry to take pics sorry!

Call in your deep dish order in advance and they'll get it started for you. Or just enjoy the many screens they have going.

Food always great here, just a bit disappointed in the service. We ordered 40 min early online and when we arrived they told us to wait another 40 min. The waitress confused my name with someone else and made the mistake of letting me know it was ready when it wasn’t. Make sure if u order online make your first and last name clear.

We LOVE Rances. Great pizza and we have had the best server there several times. We sat outside and the service was great.

Terrible service. I was waiting over an hour for my order and when I went up and asked for it they said: it's been done for over 15 minutes. I asked why they didn't call my name? The guy said: this order was placed before I came in shift. I said: but our order is sitting there with the other orders.

No apologies, just a soggy box of pizza. The pizza is good, but nothing to write home about. The service just needs to be better. It would have been so easy to just say sorry.

Had deep dish pizza for the first time at rance’s chicago. It was delicious! I got the 9” size with pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers.

Rance's Chicago Pizza is a recommendation to me from a few weeks ago. During my experience, customer service is good especially for a seemingly somewhat busy night. The eatery offers a variety of seating options; outdoor and indoor (high, low, hard, and soft cushion) seating. There are televisions. I order the Gluten Free Vegan Small Thin Crust w/ Mushrooms and Garlic splitting the pie though joining in the middle. The meal is so filling and really tasty, warm. The slices don't taste anywhere near as good to me in the morning. Yet, the flavors linger, whether fresh out of the oven or hours later, so much; the aftertaste is amazing and consistent.

Phoenix has Lou Malnati's and Giordano's, Las Vegas has Giordano's and Amore, Taste of Chicago. With the addition of Rance's in OC and LA, Socal now has a legitimate contender in regards to authentic, Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza. Buttery goodness. Jennifer and crew are spectacular.

Bad management. Good food. They constantly made it harder for us to get a table. They even allowed another party to sit before us even after we requested a spot. We had ordered online ahead of time for pick up but we met up with friends and decided we wanted to dine in and order more food. They said no because we ordered online and therefore refused to put us on the wait list to dine. Our online food wouldn't be ready until another 30 mins. We left and came back because they didn't cut the pizza. When we returned an employee mentioned an outside party just sat on their tables with outside food and the employee had the audacity to say to leave them alone in front of us. After we've been requesting a table several times. We reiterated our concern and they didnt care. Was it the fact our party were people of color? Who knows. Management sure was picky to who got to dine in. Food was good though, new management would probably be for the best.

Great Chicago style deep dish pizza and beers from local breweries! Excellent combination along with the friendly service of a local spot.

Some of thw best Chicago deep dish ever. Had the stuffed version.it was bliss. That crust! Like some of the best pie crust you have ever had. Seriously.

Ate here this weekend and still dreaming of those bourbon wings! The pan pizza is fire too!
The cool atmosphere and great beer selection definitely complimented the meal. The manager was super sweet and was the cherry on top of an awesome experience. I'll definitely be back!:)

Our server was excellent!

We got a large stuffed pizza. And it was a lot! Also tried the Cesar salad and the spinach salad. Both were very tasty.

As close to authentic Chicago pizza as I've been able to find in the LA area.

This place is delicious.the waiter was awesome and the beer choices are great! The Guava white ale that was recommended was delicious.the pizza was fantastic I would definitely come back!

This is the best pizza I’ve had on the west coast. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews. They probably didn’t try the deep dish stuffed pizza (real Chicago style) here. It is bomb. The bad reviews are probably for the thin crust or regular deep dish. Get the deep dish stuffed crust pizza and never look back!

Best pizza west of the Mississippi. Thin crust, beef pepperoni (because I don't eat pork) olives and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious

Not impressed at all. The deep dish didn't even rise. It was okay pizza. 2 small pizzas, one drink, plus an appetizer were over $60. No thanks.

So we went in to taste this pizza at Rance's Chicago location and were pleasantly surprised. Lively location, our waitress was super nice & suggested some tasty options. Happy to have them here on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore.

Really good vibes inside (cool paintings & cozy dark wood), good brews on tap, pizza was really nice and fresh, fresh mozzarella cheese. Definitely reccommend.
