Honest, helpful and reliable. Shop owner is on call 24/7 which is great peace of mind no matter where you go. This type of work on your car isn't cheap but needless to say that good work isn't cheap and quality is worth it.

The true definition of a quality shop is what they do when things go wrong. When you run a shop, things happen out of your control quite often, and when I say they went wrong with my transmission I very much mean it. I was out of town when an installed part failed. 1,200 miles away in Texas.out of town. The story is long so I'll skip the details.

The owners answered on a Sunday. While on vacation.dropped everything, and did not stop until we found resolutions. They were all over handling everything that was going on and I could not be more impressed with their professionalism in the face of adversity.

Myself and the owners handled everything from A-Z with professionalism, kindness, understanding, and genuine empathy.

So few shops operate with this high level of integrity. You're done shopping. Cheaper isn't worth it. You can trust them and that's priceless.

Sal is the best! I had a problem a couple months after and he didn't even question things. Even came and picked up the vehicle to take back to his shop. Now that's service after the SALE!

Said my transmission was the problem but it wasn't, after taking it to jiffy lube they said it was a misfire. They fixed it.

My transmission kept slipping eventually it broke the flywheel. Mr. Sal (owner) and his team rebuild my transmission, torque converter and replaced flywheel. My 20 year old Toyota Rav4 is running better than new. Thank you for helping me out. Honest local business.

I didn't believe that honesty existed in this auto repair world until I met Sal. Quoted me first, then quoted a much lower price when he found out the parts price after I agreed to first quote. Great work, great warranty and will definitely return when needed.

Sal is the best (defined as honest, competent and fair) transmission guy I know. I went there fearing the worst, but he quickly put my fears to rest and told me the problem was not in my transmission, but instead was my motor mounts (the car was making a horrible grinding noise upon heavy acceleration when it shifted gears). He could have easily sold me a transmission rebuild, but instead had the integrity to be honest, even though it cost him a sale. This is why I highly recommend Rancho Transmission to everyone I know that needs transmission work!

I brought my friend there to pick up her 2005 Hyundai Accent. Car has a manual transmission, clutch would not disengage was problem documented on service slip. On the bill part of page where things were explained and itemized was a side note of sorts (strange) warning of getting car into reverse. NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM BEFORE. Well now magically she has that issue now. So yeah maybe I was never YOUR CUSTOMER SIR but my BFF was and now her car only goes forward not ever reverse. But hey thanks for the warning I guess. She's happy as long as it is getting her from A to B so to say. I was waiting for her out in front, your driveway would of been impossible for me to drive into. My car is too low.

My transmission slipped out of gear The owner is really honest and a good person He could have easily charged me 1000-2400 to fix my car It just needed a replacement part in order to keep it in gear He only charged me 180 dollars and had it done in an hour Great company and honest Ill be back again

Automotive repair can be expensive but even worse if its a repair you dont need. You have to trust your mechanic and you can trust these guys

Had to get my clutch sorted out. Was making that dreaded grinding noise and I knew it needed to be replaced ASAP before it went out. Called around to several different shops and they all were giving me appointments weeks out.

I called Saul and he brought me in and diagnosed my car for free same day. Took my vehicle and he was able to get it turned around in less than five days. Plus, he saved me hundreds of dollars compared to when I got my last clutch replaced at the car dealership.

Very honest and upfront businessman - will be coming back for all my transmission needs and send him friends & family in the future.
