Randolph E. Collier Northbound and Southbound Rest Area reviews
14Nice place but saw a white male in a green expedition yelling at his phone and smoking pot behind wheel be careful and alert authorities if u see him there
This is such a Beautiful Place to take a well deserved break from that horrible freeway traffic.
. Im ALWAYS SO GRATEFUL 2 HAVE ACCESS to such a beautiful area.the gardeners that so to here do groom & manicure these lawns and the river is so beautiful and peaceful.
I even seen 12 deer in a large herd grazing.i think they are whitetail deer and all grazing peacefully in the grassy areas.
So amazing to see them.
People; please don't bring your dogs out and walk them so as to chase the deer away by their mere doggy presence.
. Even on the end of the leash, the dogs will frighten them all away immediately.
The deer live here full time and are not TAME; THEY ATE WILD; and you and your dogs are just visiting this place temporarily.please don't disrupt their feeding patterns by trying to walk over to them and disturb them.
These deer are all GODs wild creatures that deserve peace and quiet and this area is not a petting zoo for you and your kids & mongrel dogs' temporary entertainment.
Thank you so much
I'm a truck driver with my wife. Stopped here for the night. Really beautiful place. Restrooms are clean. Everything is well kept. Only down side is no vending machines. Not a big deal though. Just wanted a soda haha. But I love stopping here. Beautiful river runs past this place.
Very clean with a nice big park including many trees and seating near the river. Lots of places to sit.
Lovely place for a picnic along the river. Close to the freeway, but is a nice spot for a break.
Nice and clean restrooms here. The north ones tend to be busy so it’s may be better to stop by the south ones. The grass is very green showing a great example of California. Good place to have a picnic too.
EV chargers available.
Stop be the visitor center to get info but it’s only open during business hours.
We were heading to Phoenix OR and needed a stop for our dog Nugget. This is a very nice rest area and there is a north section and a south section. They have a HUGE grass area which is very nice except dogs are not allowed on the grass. They do have an area for dogs but not as nice as the grass area.
Very clean. Felt safe. Large rest area. Tons of parking. Lots of shady areas with tables for picnics.
This is more like a State Park than a Rest Stop. Lots of green lawn and trees, next to the Klamath River. It’s the nicest Rest Stop I’ve ever seen.
A great place to take a break. Learn about the area and relax. Park setting is wonderful. Will stop again.
Huge rest area on the Klamath River. Lots of grass and picnic tables. Restrooms are well maintained. A favorite potty spot on I-5.
The best rest area California has to offer, and I mean that with love.
Solid signal for T-Mobile, enough to video call.
One of the nicest rest areas in the country. Tons of oversized parking, River on the backside and a herd of dear were there shaking down travelers when we were there.
One of my favorite rest areas. There's lots of trees so you can park in the shade. There is shady picnic tables and a grassy area if you wish to picnic by the river that runs by it.
