They only block the seats from side to side of your group, not in front or behind you. Not very effective social distancing.

I really like this theater. The concession can be long so allow some extra time if you want to grab snacks. The theater is clean and chairs are non reclining but still comfy.

My four year old can't sit in his own seat because the seat folds up on him. They need to change their price policy. I pay for a seat my son won't even sit in.

Haven't been there in a long time but its changed for the better, as in better snack selection. Staff was great. Place wasn't as clean when we walked in to view the movie

Sunday's are a great day to go. $1 hot dogs and bargain family pack, helps keep the cost down and the kids happy.

Why do they not offer buckets of popcorn? It's like they're told to give you the least amount of popcorn possible. I have never spent so much on such a little amount of popcorn. It's the popcorn that brings me to the movies, and it's the food and the popcorn prices at Reading that will make sure I go to Maya or Edwards instead. One hot dog at reading costs 4$ minimum? 20 hot dogs for that price. Forget this place, go elsewhere.

This place is good but the snacks and popcorn are crazy expensive. I recommend sneaking some food in. ;)

The only comfortable seats are the ones in the IMAX theater and it's always hazy in the lobby. I prefer Maya.

Love it. Great prices. Sundays they have special on popcorn. 4 the bouquet, and a free candy. 6 dollars ticket before 6 PM after 6 is 9.50 IMAX are 13.50 great quality. I've bee a member since 2000.

Very good theatre and comfortable seating. I'm going through some vision impairment stuff so I can absolutely vouch for the top notch audio quality.

Not very hospitable my husband had to wait outside while my 2 yr old and I went and watched hotel Transylvania 3. Not to mention they don't even serve unsweetened ice tea (bummer)

I had 4 eell behaved great grandkids to see t re ansylvania. T huh e concession was c l ean service efficent the day before we were in inglewood the floors were so sticky i could barely walk thr young man ixasked questions acted indiferent big difference

Reading cinemas offers some good deals on movies. But at 12$ for a large popcorn, (which I think is the smallest popcorn i have ever gotten in all of Bakersfield) and 4.50 for 1 hot dog, which is almost enough to buy a pack of hot dogs, one will feel cheated with quality and quantity of food versus price. The food is incredibly over priced, to the point of which it could be considered fleecing of movie goers subsidized popcorn. This is by far, far from the cheapest place in town.

There really clean, and The working staff, YEAH There younger generation but there very polite, and willing to help!

Last movie i went to see was the purge. I was excited to watch this movie. After a long wait because I arrived early to the movie. I ended up in a small room.lots of people complained and asked for a refund. I stayed watched the movie, btw.good movie.

Their food sucks! I bought 2 chimichangas and they gave them to us still frozen inside. I had to go back to exchange them, missing the beginning of the movie. The second one they gave me wasn't frozen but still very cold inside.

It was a busy Sunday early afternoon. Lots of miscommunication between staff and us today. Great theater. Sold us too many tickets, ran out of food items we wanted, sold us the wrong food items.

Nice movie theater
Can be a tad more cleaner. Everytime I walk in to the lobby it's full of smoke from the popcorn machines. But screen sizes are pretty good overall.
