Red and White Fleet reviews
18A wonderful cruise with beautiful views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge and the surrounding area. I highly recommend it to everyone!
Worth a trip to both bridges. Informative commentary throughout the trip. Staff were brilliant.
Did another Bay Cruise with Red and White Fleet. Takes one hour and currently costs $38.
It's very informative and you can take the ship under the GG Bridge.
Also a lot of other information about SF and Alcatraz.
Loved the experience of the cruise. Decent time out on the water.
Awesome end with pictures to remember the vacation! Make sure to take one once done!
Such a fun sunset cruise! Was definitely worth it. We saw some great views and it was perfect for our honeymoon trip!
I really enjoyed the tour but the audio was terrible. I ended up asking for a headset even though I'm not hearing impaired and it was much better. Unfortunately it stopped working half way through the tour. They swapped it out but I had to go down stairs and missed part of the tour.
The people were all nice and when the headset was working, the audio tour was great.
The California Sunset Cruise was excellent. I’ve been on this cruise twice now and this trip was somewhat cold. The ship starts to the west of Alcatraz and swings around to the east. Then to the east of Angel Island. We pass Tiburon and head into the Marin inlet. The wind settled down and we enjoyed a relaxing ride past the harbor and not quite to the house boats. The boat turns around past Sausalito directly to the Golden Gate Bridge. The sun sets somewhat before we sail under the Golden Gate. The lights of the bridge twinkle as we cross under the bridge passing the Marin Headlands. Once we see the lighthouse the ship turns around. The it’s a direct line back to the harbor. There is a cash bar with decent specialty drinks. And they have Chandon single serving bottles. And a fairly good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. There are snacks available too. The ship is large with two decks of seating. The bottom deck is enclosed for those cold days. The top deck is great when it’s sunny and warm. Totally worth a trip whether in town for a holiday or to see the City from a new perspective.
We did this in the afternoon, 2: 15 tour was quieter then the one before. It is the best way to get some great shots at the bridge, nice boat and toilets.
I needed a quick, cheap, and safe way to get to the bridge and back for work. This tour did not disappoint. In one hour got to visit the bridge and Alcatraz. Plus I got some great pics and audio tour of the surrounding bay area. Learned alot about San Francisco! Maybe next time I'm in the area I'll bring my good camera and go ahead and take the 2 hour tour. Definitely doing this again!
Even with San Francisco’s infamous fog, the short cruise was worth the bother being able to admire the bridge up close (underneath), with Alcatraz in clear sight and the beautiful city from the boat that felt safe in the fairly rough waters.
Although it started out slow and the weather wasn’t cooperating, this was a great sunset cruise that showed all the amazing San Francisco highlights like Alcatraz Island and Golden Gate Bridge! Highly recommend doing the sunset tour and you can get them online or in person if they’re available!
Very nice experience, the ships are in very good shape the people very friendly, no over crowd.
Definitely do it, it's really beautiful!
At the beginning I thought to myself omg soooo many people but it's a 3-story ship and it's spread out really well, it's not crowded and it's really really beautiful to see the bridge like that and also see Sausalito and Alkatraz from the ship*****
Amazing experience. It is very windy and cold by the Golden Gate Bridge (even in August) so bring a jacket!
I took my husband on the Sunset cruise with Red White and Fleet and it was absolutely gorgeous! Not only were the views stunning, their $2 hot chocolates made for the perfect warmth on the brisk cruise. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to celebrate someone they love, or to celebrate the moment!
The port is dotted with cute pigeons and is bustling with tourists buying tickets to cruise ships to see the famous bridge. What a memorable and enjoyable experience.
We had family visit and they wanted to do a harbor cruise. Red and White did not disappoint, the boat is large and the seating is comfortable. The cruise took exactly an hour, provided some great facts about the bay area and we even saw some dolphins.
