Red Apple Cafe reviews
16Great food with wonderful l staff. Parking gets crowded. Reasonable pricing. Accomdates multiple large groups with ease.
Was in town visiting a friend. They suggested this place for Sunday brunch. He warned us the place gets busy, so there would be a wait. We arrived and the parking lot was full. Had to park in the adjacent neighborhood, but I did notice that people were parking across the street in the Home Depot lot. We were seated and a server was quick to get our drink order and returned to take our food order. I had the french toast and special and it didn't disappoint. It's one of those meals that once you start digging in, you just don't stop and then your plate is empty. Not one thing to complain about really. Service was prompt and friendly even with a full house. Two choices of house coffee, regular and dark roast even. Cup was always topped off too! I will be returning here the next time I'm in town.
Good food good service. Biscuits and Gravy was ample but the bacon was over done. If you want a big breakfast for a reasonable price this establishment is for you.
Excellent place to eat. We wanted to try it for awhile now and we finally made it in there. Great food and Great Staff. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had the Maji-maji and it was cooked and flavored perfectly. My girl got tge calamari and it was perfect as well. Very pleased we will return
I came in about 1: 50pm, 10 minutes before closing, and received quick service along with good food. I ordered the apple French toast, that was filling and not too sweet. Also the drink order was a Mexican coffee. This is a nice homey spot to get breakfast or lunch.
I'm highly judgemental of hollandaise sauce. I learned to make my own in culinary class, and I have judged breakfast places based on their hollandaise sauce ever since. This may seem like an odd thing to focus on, but it's one of the 5 French mother sauces. These sauces are considered to be the base for most cooking. It's not that hard to make, and those who take care to make their own obviously care about the quality of their food. This is by far the best hollandaise I have ever had at a restaurant. It is 100% clear that the chef makes it themselves. Perfect balance of the richness, saltiness, not too much lemon, and just a slight hint of background spice. It's thick but not curdled, it's not runny, and it didn't break. I'm impressed. Nothing is worse than going out for a nice breakfast and getting something that tastes like canned hollandaise. This is now my new favorite breakfast place and will come often. I hope the chef knows how much their dedication to flavor and quality is appreciated.
Terrific family-owned breakfast-and-lunch place. I ordered a decent chicken-fried steak and eggs, cottage potatoes, and got a very good dark roast coffee for lunch. The 20-minute wait line out the door speaks to Red Apple's quality and popularity. Outdoor seating available too. Will likely visit again next Fresno trip.
They have a wide variety of dishes and always serve generous portions. Their country potatoes and Benedict dishes are delicious. Wait time can be a little long sometimes so always call ahead to check before you head over.
Hands down one of the best places to have breakfast in fresno. My son and I have been eaten breakfast here for a few years now and we love it! The servers are super friendly, portion size is huge and most importantly the quality of food and ingredients exclent! They just expanded there parking lot which is a huge plus as well. If you haven't been here before I highly recommend checking them out. Oh yeah and remember they are only open for breakfast and lunch so they close early.
Very rude waitress, my granddaughter & I got seated 11: 45, did not get our food until close to 12: 30, she came & asked us to leave because they had a waiting list & needed us to leave. This was at 1: 05. Sorry, but I have never heard of someone asking you to leave. We had not even finished our meal. Has anyone else had this experience there or anywhere else?
Must go before 7 if you want to get a table without a wait but absolutely will not disappoint. The food is delicious must get the potatoes with onion and mushrooms you will love them. They are cooked to perfection.
The place started off great they forgot avocado for my eggs and the eggs didn’t taste completely made the bacon looked good I don’t eat meat mom said it was okay
Eggs potatoes we good. Unfortunately, the steak was ordered medium rare but came out well. Excellent service made up for the over cooked steak.
Food portions are huge. Definitely worth the wait. Wasn't too long of a wait. Only 15-20 minutes. Food was relatively good. A little confused on who our server was cuz several people attended to us. Otherwise, would come again:)
This place is so good recomend 100% is always crowded but they are really fast with the service and the food is very testy.
