Red Blossom Tea Company reviews
20It's very overpriced for what it's offering. There are much more reasonably priced tea stores online.
Awesome women-owned tea shop in Chinatown. They are happy to recommend teas to the novice drinker, and they are patient with any questions. They take orders through the glass window right now due to COVID, and they accept contactless payment.
Visited couple of days ago. Got the one that was recommended by employee. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we couldn’t get inside and smell the aroma’s of the teas. I made one yesterday with lemongrass and ginger but it didn’t have a strong aroma. It was vey light, not bad but not to my taste.
Wonderful tea shop with informative staff and lovely teas and tea blends. I have many teas from this shop and will happily continue to purchase more from them!
Fantastic, highly recommend the Yes Tastings. They are very knowledgeable and eager to share their knowledge and history of tea.
My favorite tea shop ever. It's been more than 10 years since I've lived in SF and I visit when I come back to town and still order their tea online. Great tea, great knowledge of tea.
Highly knowledgeable and friendly staff that can help you navigate their extensive range of tea.
Highly recommended. Very informative, loved hearing about difference in types of teas. Take a break from sightseeing and enjoy a locally owned business that is passionate about what they do.
This is a great authentic tea shop. Owned by the same family for years. They source their teas directly from farms in China and do awesome tea tastings so you can learn about their teas.
I stopped here on a tour of Chinatown and loved it. It was really fun to taste the teas and learn about them.
I’ve been going to this tea shop since for 7 years! For at least 4 of them, the same woman has been serving the tea tastings. Love this place. Really nice teas and great way to taste before you buy.
My goto place for Chinese Teas. Some of my favorites are Silver Needle and Dragon Pearl Jasmine Supreme.
A gem in Chinatown. The owner really puts her mind and heaet in running the business. If you are into tea, you have to go to Red Blossom.
The best tea shop in Chinatown, I've had their tea for years and I've never found another that I like more that the Moroccan Mint of this place. They staff is very nice and there is a tasting class available if you have time and $35 for the whole table. A must for all tea lovers that come by.
Relaxing setup to enjoy a tea tasting. $35 for a table of four, includes five teas, and light snacks. You will learn about the shop origin, tea location and how it relates to the distinctive taste each of them has starting from white and going to black tea.
The store is family-owned in the second generation. Tea is selected in china, it is natural without any additives. We enjoyed the tea ceremoy "Discovery" with four teas (35 $ for up to 4 persons). Fully recommended!
Had a very nice to tasting at the red blossom tea company. The staff was very friendly and informative.
Very fun intro into Asian Teas. Decent selection of teas with some aged pu erh tea's. Staff was great with people and knowledge of what they were pouring.
This is a really nice tea store in the heart of China Town. The teas here are all sourced by the owners and are highly scrutinized for quality and lack of pesticides. Something fun to do is their tea tasting. While it is a bit expensive ($35), it is well worth the experience and knowledge you learn while doing it. The store offers a huge array of teas you can buy and a good selection of tea accessories (cups, steepers, etc.) for purchase as well. This is a great stop if you're in the China Town are in San Francisco.
I just love this tea store and have been buying teas from this company for many years. Truly enjoyed the tea tasting that we had here this trip and appreciated the difference between green tea, oolongs, and black tea. Chinese tea is very subtle and they are able to demonstrate the differences between the teas. Alice Luong and her family have been personally traveling to China to curate the tea that they sell and it really shows. A gem nestled in the heart of what can be rather touristy Chinatown.
