15Me & my lovely girlfriend ate here for dinner on Sunday Nov 19th '23. Everything we ordered tasted extremely delicious. The atmosphere was lovely. The service was mediocre to us. So if you guys wish to have Lobster for dinner, visit this restaurant. Enjoy your meal, guys. Bye-bye now
We came to celebrate the Marine Corps birthday, our waiter Billy asked if we were celebrating a special date and we told him the occasion and Billy's service was awesome! He brought out a dessert at the end of our meal for us to celebrate Thank you!
Food and my server Nicole was fantastic, paid attention to us and our needs, refills before we ran out of our beverage. The ideal Service Personnel. I loved her.
As it neared the end of her shift her relief came, a young woman named Linda. Linda seemed completely unhappy with her job. Her and another staff, (perhaps a lead or manager not sure but her shirt was different from everyone else's) stood at the bar whining and complaining about life and how things were unfair and who is on vacation and blah blah blah. The whining drove me insane. We politely asked for to go boxes and came home to finish our meal, which sucks because we live 20 mins away. But cold food was better than a single second more of Linda whining. Perhaps you guys should get a suggestion box or staff room, because at the bar in front of guests is super annoying. Linda's negative energy was bringing the mood down

2021 review: The service was great! The food was cooked perfectly. Samantha and Brooke are amazing servers
The most recent experience (nov 2023) : went on a Friday night. Place was practically empty. That should have been a sign. We were immediately seated, but then waited a long time for service. At least we were directly next to a woman waiting to complain to a manager about gift cards they whole time. Then we ate two plates of biscuits, not in a hurry at all. Then, we waited even longer for our food to come out. Half of the shrimp plate was piping hot on my husbands dish, the other half.maybe room temperature? On my plate, the fries I couldn't even touch they were so hot, but my burger was barely warm. Plus, the meat didn't taste like they used seasoning on it at all.not even salt. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but judging on the other signs (like the place being almost empty), maybe not.
My server Joey was prejudice and bad service, food was not up to even fine dining service, I would never ever go to this Red Lobster or anyone just for the service that day was horrible
Surprised that we had to wait about 40 minutes to seat our party of 5 at 7: 30 PM on a Tuesday. Service was a little sliw. Had to request drink refills. Some food was just lukewarm. Food was good but not hot.
Updated Oct 6.the unlimited shrimp made me a fan again, but now they no longer serve my favorite, the rangoon. It has been replaced with nasty tequila lime. On top of that the price went up $7 and now only includes 1 side instead of 2. I guess it's the long game bait and switch.too bad, I'm out again for a few years
I had not been here in quite a while, but if they are selling unlimited shrimp I'm in. Feels kinda old fashioned in here, but everyone is nice and the food was pretty good.
The food was good. Our server was top-notch. The place was clean and well-kept, and the bathrooms were spotless and well stocked.
Only disappointed about the advertisement about 20$ all you can eat shrimp was over when we arrived.now 27$ & only one side not the 2 sides with the advertisement of 20$
I took my stepmother out to celebrate her birthday. She absolutely enjoyed herself. We got a Wednesday special which was steak and lobster for 28 bucks not bad. Added a side of crab legs and also had the new crab queso dip. And for a seafood joint the steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. It was all very good I told the waitress it was her birthday and at the end of our meal they brought out a plate with a scoop of ice cream caramel drizzle and whipped cream with happy birthday wrote in chocolate and a little candle it was very nice.
1st time at red lob 40 minute wait 30+ and 4 refills we were about to pay for drinks and salads got our food couldn't enjoy it we too stuffed with our ice teas and salads, got 2 different excuses from 2 waiters
The endless shrimp had my wife in the bathroom vomiting her guys out all night, so she’ll never eat here again, the service was terrible we had plates on the table everywhere from entrees we’d eaten already that were just sitting there, no one came and said hey can I get that for you I see your table is crowded with plates, I don’t know if it was because our waitress was older she thought she would leave it to the younger people up for the clearing the table task but never again will I eat here
Asked my daughter where she wanted to go for her 30th birthday. We go to red lobster. She ordered the endless shrimp. All of her food was cold im not saying warm or Luke warm it was cold. The shrimp, mash potatoes and veggies. We asked to take back. They bring back shrimp again cold. Then I had checked the kids food, again cold.
Asked to speak to manager. Supposedly manager comes, I think it was the cook. Explained what happened started to explain what was going on. Basically he thought we were¹lying. They did give us the cold mean for free, she had not eaten any of it, and 10% off. The disregarded myngrandkis food.
That was okay but this supposedly manager made us feel like we did something wrong and ruined my daughter's birthday. Im not sure we will ever go back
1st time to our local red lobster been to Montclair several times you all out did yourself ill be back
