Red Pepper Express food truck reviews
17This is a food truck in Sunnyvale serving indo Chinese food. We got the chilly baby corn but its outer coating was very chewy instead of crispy or soft. The checkout tablet on which you pay and select tip was very greasy and made me question the cleanliness standards. Service was quick and polite.
The food wasn't good. The food was not worth the price. And no comments on the atmosphere because it's a food truck. We didn't expect much anyway. But food was a real disappointment. Dry chili chicken, the chicken was overcooked and dry, it wasn't just dry chicken chili, it was dry meat literally. Fried rice was average, no flavors. Momos were the worst. The skin was thick and hard. We felt sick after the first Moms. Couldn't go for a second bite even for the sake of money spent on it.
Got the Babycorn Manchurian here on a Sunday evening. There was no crowd and the service was quick. However, it was the most bland Manchurian I've ever tasted. I took it back home and seasoned it to be able to eat it. Would not recommend.
I ordered takeout.would have given no star if possible. Waited for 80 min and left without all the items ordered. They dint prepare the complete order. The person at the counter mockingly kept on saying 10 more min for more than 45 min.
The food was not worth the wait and the service.
Please update the open and close time of shop on tuesday!
Atleast have a courtesy to tell on the website that the shop is closed or even update the voice mail to tell the same.
Highly disappointed at the service

I am not sure what happened. The quantity, quality of the food has degraded drastically. The chill chicken, chicken lollipop did not had spices well with chicken and lot of ginger garlic paste taste. Chicken is almost bland in both these dishes. My once a favorite dish Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice does not taste like a fried rice rather rice mixed with some spices and chicken. Overall I wouldn’t recommend it in the current state of quality.

4 stars for the food. Had chicken manchurian and Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice. Taste is good. Quantity is okay. I wish the outdoor sitting had some good space, but it is too close to El Camino road, so you can not really enjoy food there. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.
Worst experience ever! I ordered food and after waiting for 60 minutes only got half of order and after pointing it out, they took another 40 minutes to complete the order. The food was not even worth that kind of wait. I would never visit this place again everrrrrrr
Amazing food catered. All dishes were delicious! We got the chilli fish (dry), chicken Manchurian, mushroom dry, paneer hot garlic and veg fried rice. Would highly recommend.
I had been here twice n v tasted Chilli momos, chilli garlic noodles and steamed veg momos. The taste was amazing like Bangalore street food. I really liked the spice level of all the items which I ordered and amazing taste.thank you
Two times I have had their Gobi Manchurian to go.
The first time it was delicious and reminded me of the Manchurian street food we used to get in Bangalore. However, the second time it didn't taste that good.
It seemed like the Manchurian sauce wasn't coated well on the cauliflower. The vegetable was well boiled and soft but the crunchy-ness was missing. So it wasn't deep-fried and coated well.
Next time, I will try their other dishes such as Fried Rice. I hope they can improve their Manchurian dishes again.
Great food, for both quantity and quality.
The guy was prompt too.
This is one of my favorite “Indo-Chinese” food trucks
Excellent Service, Staff is very Co-operative and Polite, Food was Very Delicious, very pleasant Atmosphere, you love to spend time with your Loved once, I personally recommend you pls visit once you definitely do again
Typical street food.
Must try egg sch fried rice, chilli garlic noodles, baby corn 65
The veg Manchurian was amazing. Was craving it since a few days and it lived up to its expectation and more:)
Today 30th June 2023, for the first time, I ordered from here: 2 Chicken Chow Mein Noodles, 1 Chicken Fried Rice, 1 Chicken Lollipop.
Chicken Lollipop is very hard to chew and looks like those are not fresh.
Chicken Fried Rice was too dry, only some pieces of chicken (hard and smelly), 4/5 pieces of eggs, some Capsicum and corn. No taste at all.
Chicken Chow Mein Noodles same as fried rice.
Also the oil what you have used (today) was smelling very bad.
At home, we prepare way better than you guys and today I am very disappointed at our dinner table just because of the bad food you served.
I am staying in Bay Area for 6 years and trust me, the worst Indo Chinese Food I have today.
I know you guys will reply me saying sorry and guarantee next time you will satisfy. But, I'll never ever order from you any more and ask all my friends not to order from you.
Dishes are extremely spicy. I had ordered chicken lollipop and chilli garlic noodles for take out and both items were extremely spicy and gave me stomach bug. Not going here again after such an unpleasant experience.
We have been ordering from Red Pepper Express every 4-6 weeks over the last couple of years and have been very happy with the quality and quantity of food! They really care about customer satisfaction and open to feedback on how they can improve. Do give them a shot if you haven’t tried their food as yet!
