Red Roof PLUS+ Chula Vista reviews
17We had an extended stay of 28 days. We had our dog with us. The room was clean and quiet. The staff met all of our needs without being intrusive. The wifi was excellent. I would definitely recommend Red Roof inn.
Horrible hotel, whole lot of weird activity going on.smell is terrible enough. You get penetrated with one nights stay. We were assigned here by our apartment property.we left immediately the next day.definitely not a place to stay with your children. It’s nothing like the photos inside. Bathroom has weed smell coming thru the vents. Homeless people walking the parking lot, knocking on your doors. I brought it to office attention and he mentioned that person lived there when he looked like a homeless asking to let him sleep in our room. Can’t expect more with the high homeless rate in the area. Sheets and throws are stinky too. Can’t possibly give this hotel a rate.
It's a nice hotel I havent stayed here but my sister is and I like the inside the outside is quite busy alot of people of sorts.
I’m from Portland and I just moved here and had to stay on a hotel for a week until my apartment was ready and this is by far the nicest room I’ve been.
The price is great and everything in the room is upgraded and very clean.
The bed is soft and comfy.
I booked for the whole weekend. By the end of Sunday they took all my stuff out of the room and didn't contact me at all. Never again.
The roof isn't red. Don't know if that makes a difference but I noticed it. Kinda felt cheated in some way. I'm like really? The roof ain't even red!
We stayed there from Sunday thru Friday ND the front desk clerk wasn't very friendly. The 1st day of maid service was good. But the next day was just terrible. I told the maid I only needed clean towels ND to please leave them on the bed. But she clearly went all the way into our room (we had a brand new roll of toilet tissue) but we didn't get clean towels ND there was some crumbs on the entry way to our room. It looked toast crumbs. We didn't eat in our room yet. And apon checking out there was so many cops near the elevator that we could barely get on the elevator!
Do not stay here unless you enjoy the smell of constant weed, barking dogs (all night), and homeless encampment under stair cases! I think the people in the room next to us lived here (they had their own doormat). We requested a handicap room, actually reserved the one with the roll in shower online, upon check in it was unavailable. Only 4 ADA rooms (none available), needed bars for toilet area. Had no choice but to stay since being picked up here for a medical procedure. All handicap parking full with cars with no placards, was told by front desk that they didn't have enough parking and one was his car. Couldn't unload into wheelchair from a regular spot. Website advertises breakfast included, there is no breakfast! Only coffee
This is my first review I’ve ever wrote for any business.
This place is a complete dumpster, the manager in the front named Sam is a complete assshole. Booked for 12 nights and only refunded me for 10 nights and I only stayed for one night.
Windows blinds are destroyed, bathroom is gross. Trust me spend a little more and go else where.
Feels like a crack house
Front desk sets5 thier own pieces, one say I pay $89 the next day I pay $110 Roddy I pay $145 on a Thursday. They make money if your paying cash
Don't get a room on the first floor that is next to the stairwell, people have no class, they will stand there and have a 15 minute conversation at 2,3, or 4 am.
The ladys here are very helpful when it comes to the cleaning, i love that they accept animals.lots of fast food places near the hotel and stores to go shopping if u need a lil break from everything and everyone.
Worst place to stay in, not safe at all, weird people all over the place. Rooms are clean, but area is horrible, too much noise and on the Main Street, you can hear people fighting outside your room all the time.copes are all over the place too!
Dogs are horrible with barking I complained about it like 5 times they don’t care, don’t stay here the pets are too much, dogs barking all morning everyday
Service is meh! Place is not family friendly a lot of activity.too expensive rooms are clean most of time.
Loud music and much thumping noise from the ceiling. We were at 2nd floor. Looks renovated and feels clean nice sized room. Deducting two stars because of the noise. Lots of cameras and bright lights in the parking lot which tells you the area is not safe but the cameras provide comfort against these unsafe situations. The bright lights are turned off around 5am or so even before there is daylight to save energy and costs which I dislike. South Asians hotel operator tend to save money above safety and this is one fine example.
Lots of odd people wandering about clueless. Crazy woman screaming from third floor balcony, " I think I can fly! " Make up your own mind on that one.
