This Russian food restaurant is a hidden gem - the food is absolutely amazing and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The menu features a wide range of dishes, from hearty soups and stews to delicate blinis and caviar. I highly recommend trying the beef stroganoff - it's one of the best I've ever had. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and it's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.

Im familiar with Russian cuisine and what to order. I started with borsch, golubtsi and pelmeni. Everything was delicious. I would have liked the food a little hotter temperature but otherwise great food. We ordered a red wine from Moldova, which was just a bit sweet and delicious. The server was nice and attentive. The decor was great and very interesting. For a Sunday evening, not that busy at all.

Amel was the best! The food was absolutely delicious. It felt as if we had traveled to Russia.

Note: this was our first time trying Russian cuisine. That said, we found the cucumber salad to be friggin delicious! We tried 3 appetizers, and they were all heavy and bland, using the same meat and sauce w different carb based deliveries. The sauce, like mild sour cream w fresh dill, pulled all the weight to make it palatable but also gave no flavor variety.

Walked way too far for the hype. They told us we'd have to keep the later reservation that we made. That seemed ridiculous since it was us part of 2 and another table of 4. Oh the food was good, but could been better. STARTED out with the sampler then a rack of lamb; bottle of wine. Hurry to clear the tables. What's the rush.at 6pm no one there?

Worst service ever. If you are booking an event be prepared that the manager will double book your space with another client without even telling you leaving it as a surprise for you on your arrival. All of it to get more money from the clients.
I only hope that they are not serving food leftovers to different parties to save money.
