Redding Civic Auditorium

I recently was at Casting Crows concert and had center stage, third row seats. The chairs were very comfortable. Unfortunately the speakers were situated so that the music overpowered the vocals. If the words had not been up on the screen for some songs, I wouldn’t have been able to follow along. I thought it might have been my aging ears but when the music wasn’t being played and they were talking, it sounded like the sound was behind me or out in the hall with the doors open. I think a better seating would have been about center section about half way back.
Other than this, it was an amazing concert and I look forward to going again.

Was not happy, this venue charged VIP section exceeding high price and treated them like red headed step children. Shuffled off to the side and ignored!

Always enjoy the civic & concerts! There's just always to much fake smoke. Chockes up
the singers, starts to make the fans in front eyes water, & just isn't needed for " special effects" Still it was a great night!

Enjoyed the Casting Crowns concert so very much. The whole concert was about having Jesus in our lives. Thank you so much Casting Crowns for coming to Redding, CA. God Bless You

This is a great venue but be aware that the rules/regs are confusing. We got an email with the can's/cant's in terms of what you can bring in to the facility. It states that you can have an unopened water bottle of no more than 20oz but security would not allow us to bring ours in. Otherwise all was great!

The Steve Miller concert was awesome! The crowd was nice and the event workers were polite.

Great Concert the music and the message was fantastic, I love the preaching in between songs. I wish you had ALL the words to your songs on the big screens. Having compassion as part of your Concert was very cool. I would have liked to talk to David your Compassion speaker and I wish there was a way to leave you a person msg about how your concert and stories moved us. Your song Scars in Heaven touched me deeply, losing my only child and longing for heaven and knowing he’s not hurting any longer and all my scars from life will be gone too.

Don't bother purchasing front lawn tickets. They will open the back lawn gates before the main act, save yourself some money. They will not refund you the difference either. Zero reason to pay more for the same experience except if you feel like giving more money to Redding Civic Auditorium. With Inflation we are on a tight budget, this was one of our only events we had planned, we feel duped.

It was a wonderful night just wish the standing area was more controlled and fewer.they really seemed to take away our views when we are sitting in our chairs.

Wonderful venue, loved the lawn/outdoor experience. Clean restrooms, great drinks, we had an all around amazing time!

After they let the back lawn closer the show was a lot better since you couldn't even see the stage from where they had the back lawn spaced so we basically
missed the first two bands cause u couldn't see them, and the food trucks being split between the two areas sucked because the front lawn had access to all of it (not even talking VIP) and the back lawn could only get to part of it.lastly the water refill station was out before the headliner went on. And was told that the vendors had water bottles for sell. Well what was the point in having the refill station and telling ppl they could bring in water when your solution is just them spending $3 for water at food truck when it's still 90 at 8pm is ridiculous.

The venue really needs to have a standing area blocked off. We were happily seated, watching the show but eventually got trampled on.

Falling in Reverse show was fantastic! Venue was perfect, sound was great…. My daughter and I had VIP tix which it turns out are completely unnecessary if you like to be center stage. Front lawn is what you want if your looking for that up front and personal view of the stage. VIP was off to the side in full sun and we didn’t sit there at all!

Amazing concert experience at the Civic. I have been to several there over the years and they get better every time. Big props to the team at the Civic booking events and creating a real attraction for the Redding area!

Had a good time until the drunk people in the back were allowed to rush stage when final act took stage. Went from a good time to having to get away from seats i paid extra money for due to all the fighting that came with drunken crowd.

Great Show. We waited for the traffic exiting till we were the last car, since I am retired and I'm sure others had to work the next day, we were in no hurry.

I will never return to this place for a concert. Apparently when the band interacts with a crowd an says jump and move you will be kicked out of the concert. The security team kicked my group out for enjoying ourselves. Keep in mind this was a metal concert on the front lawn. Also a note to future metal concert goers if all you want to do is stand in one place or bring kids stay in the back.
