They came promptly and my service guy Ben was so helpful. His knowledge and
courteous attitude was greatly appreciated

Service tech Gabe came and looked beyond the obvious (and incorrect) —that I had a leak in my roof—tracing the problem to an old line that used to attach to a since removed air conditioning unit on the roof. He located an old valve under the sink and just closed it (it doesn’t appear that anything else is affected). I paid a $59 service call instead of who knows how much for unnecessary attention from a roofing company. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes and what looked to be a potentially very costly problem was fixed when he left. This experience is consistent with all of my experiences with Redding Heating and Air over the last three years.

Huge job, they took a house that never had HVAC and put complete system in, amazed with the installer Justin and Travis the appraiser I knew right away I was in good hands, super satisfied

They were able to service our unit and make sure everything was up and running prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Ben and Gabe were very professional and explained what was done to our Unit, to our satisfaction.

Prompt and courteous service. They returned twice without charge until they had fixed the problem with our Monitor heater.

As a contractor myself I have never experience such bad customer service and highly over charged for there mistakes they made. First day showed up not as scheduled and brought wrong coolant when in fact was told what was needed.
Second time came again not as scheduled, however I recieved a call that morning from there office to scheduled appointment not even knowing we already scheduled an appointment for that day. So again they came out not as scheduled and had to leave again, due to them not having the right adapter for there tank. So on there third attempt the tech spent less than 45 minutes and gave me a bill of $485.00 just to add 1lb.of coolant.no repairs.
Would not show or give me a breakdown of cost. Had called their office and was referred to their service manager which still would tell me no breakdown of costs basically I was stuck with the high cost of there bill.
Don't understand why I am paying for their mistakes of 3 trips to my house besides wasting my time and money to have to continue meeting the tech three different times.
I only paid the bill as I was told to and to contact there office.

We've been using Redding heating and air for several years. Twice a year they come out and service our roof top unit. It's an older hvac unit and with Redding heating and air's maintenance program, they have our AC & heating running like new. With their expertise and a little luck we hope to get many more years out of it. Their office staff is top notch, always a pleasure to do business with. Their services technicians are always on time and respectful of my time and property. I receive an email when they're on their way with an ETA, they check everything out, if they see a problem they let you know what it is and cost before preforming the work. Just a very professional operation all the way around. We've been super happy and will continue using and recommending Redding Heating and air.

It all started with problems with the ac in the middle of summer and they were the ones that agreed to come check the unit. The unit had two problems. Parts had to be ordered but the service guy set it up to work until the parts came in. At that time I purchased a maintenance agreement and in the fall they came out and checked the furnace part of the unit. Found that the second stage had never been hooked up and took care of that problem. Both service guys in my opinion were great. I do recommend this company.

Paid for energy saving plan but I did not receive a maintenance contract. I just got an invoice for yesterday's service.

We had a motor go out in our AC. They did provide an estimate for services but will not give a break down of labor and parts. After going back and forth asking for an itemized breakdown for a $1200 job, they called and said they cannot do that as it is not an industry standard. I was told the parts were $500 - ish leaving the labor for under 1.5 hours at $300 an hour - for a total of $600. Just unreal. I did let the receptionist know that by not providing the breakdown gives me the perception that I'm being scammed and taken advantage of during a time when everyone is over inflating their prices. She was defensive and did not seem to care about my perception.
I'm a little shocked since they have such good reviews and we have used them in the past for other maintenance. I won't make the same mistake again. Thank you Redding Heating and Air for teaching me to demand an itemization before work is performed. If you're unable to provide that, I will move on to the next company that will.
* I told the receptionist that my engineer career doesn't even pay that per hour and I'm in the wrong job. She agreed and said I was. Just wow.

A/C wasn’t working well for days. Called Redding Heating and Air at 7am. They arrived at 8 am, and fixed the issue quickly Reliable, professional and courteous.

Travis was friendly, very professional, and on the ball! He fixed our problem quickly and competently.

Allan did a great job. There was a bit of a mix up with charges, but it was handled in a professional & timely matter. Would recommend Redding Heating & Air.

Just got a new 2 ton 2 stage ac installed yesterday 6-22-23. It was not the one I was expecting when they came to deliver and install. I was told I was getting an inverter system small unit and received a traditional unit that is quite a bit bigger than my old unit that was also 2 ton 2 stage. I received a slight discount for the confusion, that I had to ask for. Receptionist gave me a model number, that wasn’t included in the contract, and it did not match the model number of the delivered unit. I only signed after I had verbal confirmation of which model I was getting. I can’t be without ac during the heat coming up, so I don’t feel as though I had much of a choice after waiting weeks without ac. New ac works ok. I’ll be back to update after a better test of the new unit next week with 100+ degree weather.

Update:
The new unit works good and kept up with 110 degree heat. Apart from a fair amount of confusion, Jesse wanted to rectify the situation, and he made it right.
