Regal La Habra reviews
17Nice to go to the movies. Distance seating is practiced. Watch your fountain drink, mine was half empty. They don't wait for the fizz to subside. I took it back and the associat was perturbed.
I came here to watch Cruella and i loved it. It was fairly late at night so there were hardly any people. The theater was empty except for us and the line for the popcorn was non-existent. It was a truly incredible experience i always love a good late night movie!
It was ok. Theater was minimally filled. I really enjoy watching the big screen. Box office wasn't maned so ya bought your tickets at the snack counter. Which by the way had little to no lines. It was nice.
So very happy to be back at my neighborhood movie theater. Great movie, delicious snacks, clean environment and friendly staff. Love it!
I was not happy.
My paperless tickets were a issue.
The food was over priced/cold/burnt.
Seats were uncomfortable and the people did not stay in their assigned seating.
Movie was great
The theater was very clean. It wasn't crowded at all. And if you're lucky you can buy tickets at Costco for half the price.
Not crowded on opening of F9 which was great, with that being said, air conditioning on very minimally which was OK, bathroom had a strong urine smell which was a bit unpleasant. Prices for tickets were reasonable.
Dirty seats! Not a bad theatre, but if I see heavy stains that could easily be wiped off, that’s unacceptable for a theatre. Especially when the seats are supposed to be cleaned after every showing due to COVID.
Veryclean. There was a young lady in the women's bathroomsanitizing. She toldme they were scheduled to close last week. There were only 3 other people in the entire theater. We saw Fathom Events movie called Recon.
Went here.nice! Kind team members. If you're hungry, go across Idaho St.and try the restaraunt, Love Note. They serve chicken and Korean style pizza. YUM!
First. Charging kids at adult prices.
Second. Have the courtesy to keep the refills available till the customers have left the building, if you don't want to honor the free refill after a certain time, let the customer know this before the purchase of the over priced large drink. Upon asking for the refill I was told the fountains are shut down and cleaned, I simply said, I paid for a refill, the guy politely said let me see what I can do. He spoke to someone, and she use a small cup to refill. So I got a small cup of pop no ice.
Third, as my daughter and I order our tickets we tried to get the center seats, we were told that seats 4, and 5, were unavailable do to seating arrangements due to covid. They were only allowing end seats, so ok, we got seats 1 and 2. Just as the movie was about to start. A couple comes in and says where is 5, and 6? (to each other, not loudly) loud enough to where we heard them clearly. I can only assume they are sitting in the seats they bought.
Rant over, movie was great, wish we saw it at the Krikorian. This place, theater 13, still has old style stadium seats.
Oh yea, no dr pepper. Major No No.
The theater appeared clean but my girlfriend brought her popcorn when we left and we discovered upon getting in the car we were both covered with ants and the popcorn had hundreds of them. You'd think if the theaters were being thoroughly cleaned due to covid they wouldn't have a bug problem either.
Nice theater. Just a simple theater. Doesn't have reclining seats and the fluff, but it was clean and the staff friendly.
Love the organ player before each big event! I've been here to see lots of film screenings, hear Al Pacino speak, listen to James Franco during a Q&A about his new book. I've yet to come here for a movie sing-along - sounds fun! Seating is comfy and the balcony has a good view of the screen/stage. And I cannot resist the popcorn here - must be something in that butter smell that lures you over! Lastly, it is easy to get here by Muni underground, bus or F line.
Pros: It's clean. You can pick your seats. It's often pretty empty.
Cons: the seats aren't very comfortable. The sound is just ok.
This place is in serious need of a remodel. They replaced the seats and it's reserved seating, but it's still the old stadium seating arrangement. They have beer now but it's just poured from the bottle instead of a tap like AMC. If they do remodel, they should replace the birthday party room with a bar like AMC has. It'll absolutely make more money than that room is now.
