Regency Place Assisted Living, Sacramento CA

We're about to move in, and so far, everything looks great. Jon has been helpful above and beyond the call of duty, and the whole atmosphere seems relaxed and friendly. Looking forward to settling in soon!

I currently work with a hospice and partner with Regency Place Assisted Living to provide the best care for their residents. Since day one their team has been nothing but great. The community has caring people and have not heard anything but amazing comments from the families we both work with.

These past couple of years have been very difficult for my family and my 86 yr old father, although my father has his cognitive mind he has continued to fall multiple times and unable to get himself up. We found “The Regency Place”, Jon, the Director has worked steady with us to meet all of my fathers needs such as the appropriate room, the distribution of dads medication, 3 meals a day and dad can even take his little doggie. Thanks to Jon, there have been no obstacles in our way to accomplish this huge transition. Thank you Jon!

My dad took up residency about 2 months ago and is enjoying it very much. He is 99 and was living on his own, but began forgetting to eat, among other things. Now, he eats 3 nutritious meals a day, while enjoying the company of other residents in the Dining Room. The staff is great and are available if needed, or just to spend a few minutes chatting with him. Socializing with others who are experiencing the same life situations has proven to be even more beneficial than expected. The friendly and supportive staff and residents refer to Regency Place as a community and I couldn't agree more!

My dad has lived at Regency Place for a year and he loves it. He calls the team there his second family and we feel the same way. The meals are always a hot topic as the chef there is really great! My dad never misses a meal! Ha! Ha! Everyone is so kind and goes out of their way to make my dad feel special. He isn't interested in playing poker or card games and the activities director Jane took the extra time to find out what his interests are. He loves movies so she made him the movie coordinator for movie nights. Wow! He just lights up when we have talks about what movie he and the group are choosing for that day! I get bi-weekly check-in calls from the director with any news and making sure I know my dad is doing great. They have also done a stellar job during the pandemic making sure the residents are healthy and safe. The team at Regency goes above and beyond to not only make my dad feel at home but us as well. I am so glad we found Regency Place!

We have been looking for a place for my mom and we could not be happier. Great staff, safe and very friendly environment with activities and three meals a day. Five STARS!

I love the staff. Jane: Most Excellent. Someone I can go to with questions and get answers. My favorite, Margie. She brightens up every room she goes into. So sweet. Marissa, a really exceptional care giver that deserves a promotion and a raise. Quick and ready for any challenge at hand. I really love this woman. She is awesome. Rommel in the kitchen. Uplifting and encouraging. He will serve you great food and make you laugh! Ryan, a real Super Trooper! Competent and easy going. Eager to assist and ALWAYS positive and encouraging. He seems to always go the extra mile. He too should be promoted above the rest and get a good raise. Just like Marries. (I call her Ma-Ritz-Zah. She knows who she is).

First coming here was kind of scary, but then I met a lot of nice people always trying to help me. This place is a nice place they make you feel safe and comfortable and you choose what you want to do.

My Momma has been here for over 3 years. In that time we have gone through a lot of changes. Her declining mental health, COVID, and now because of COVID staff shortages and changes in staff. I can not tell you enough that Liz Cruz is here for us and we need her! Her "title" is Executive Director but she is way more than that! She will take your call, answer ALL your? All the while not being rushed! If you have a loved one that needs help call Regency Place and ask for Liz! I promise you will LOVE them

My Mom has been living at the Regency Place in Assisted Living care for over two years now. The care givers and staff that work here treat her like family. She especially likes all the activities and games the Regency Place plans weekly for the residents that live here. It was hard for her to transition out of her home, but she really feels at home at the Regency Place. It really makes me happy that we found her a home to enjoy her golden years.

I love Regency Place and their excellent staff. My Mom has lived there for two years and loves it. The staff are so sweet and caring. And she absolutely loves the meals that are provided. She's made friends while dining with others in their lovely dining room, and playing games like bingo, dominos and cards. There is a huge library of books and puzzles that she takes full advantage of. The staff do light cleaning for her, (even laundry) and the facility as a whole is spotless & elegant. Last, but not least, I appreciate how the Regency staff has handled the Pandemic, keeping their residents safe from exposure and providing vaccinations at the facility. My mother has told me that she never wants to leave Regency Place.

Recently, ONR Rehab has partnered with Regency Place to provide onsite outpatient therapy (physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy) to our residents. As the new Director of Rehabilitation, I am blown away by how beautiful the community is and how welcoming and attentive the staff are. As a former mobile therapist, I have visited many communities in the greater Sacramento area, and this is one of the best! Regency Place offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care which provides the opportunity for residents to age-in-place through a continuum. Elizabeth, the Executive Director, is fantastic and high holds high standards for how the community operates. She always goes above and beyond to ensure the needs of the residents, families, and staff are heard and addressed. The care staff is amazing. They are familiar and knowledgeable of their residents’ needs and proactive about bringing additional health concerns or change of conditions to my attention for therapy recommendations. This teamwork approach and the ability to have skilled therapists monitor our residents closely and provide therapy services onsite are what set Regency Place apart from other communities. Improving strength, balance, safety and independence in their everyday activities from the comfort of their community is a win-win. Not only are there opportunities for our residents to maintain their physical well-being, but their social engagement as well. During mealtimes.the dining hall is always full as it is a popular place for the residents to gather, socialize, and enjoy a sumptuous meal with friends. Regency Place also has a well-established activity program that offers a wide variety of engagement opportunities daily, including outings, shopping trips, exercise classes, games, wellness classes, and even karaoke. The community at Regency Place feels like a family and has quickly become my second home. I am fortunate to be a part of such an amazing staff and community where we not only work together, but care for each other.

I have been employed here for almost 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience for myself and the residents that I come into contact with each day. Very close knit community where you will get to know everyone. Throughout the course of my employment here we have handled the health of our residents very effectively and kept everyone safe from the infectious diseases that can strongly effect senior living communities. Activities are partially organized by the residents themselves which helps with attendance because the activities are things that people want to do. Overall a wonderful place to be!

I've had the privilege of working at Regency for a few months now and I can say whole heartedly this is the best team to work with, and the best residents to work for. I say we work for the residents, because exceeding their needs and expectations is our goal. Seeing smiles on residents and staff's faces each morning is a daily reminder of how lucky I am to be part of such a wonderful family.

My mom stayed at regency for respite care. We were very happy with the care she received. She was safe and well taken care of.

Wow, what an incredible Community. I've toured other places and once in a while you will find a Community that comforts you more than the others, and this was one of them. It truly felt like a big family and don't even get me started on that outside courtyard-it felt like you were walking in an enchanted, beautiful forest. All I need is a glass of wine and I could have sat there for hours. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for themselves or a loved one.

My 99-year-old mother-in-law has been a happy resident of Regency Place for 14 years. Last month she had to move from her two-bedroom independent living apartment to an assisted living unit. Regency Place staff went beyond the call of duty to help her get settled in her new unit. Staff helped my husband and me remove extra furniture and decor items that wouldn’t fit. They are dedicated, cheerful and compassionate people whom we trust to help care for my mother-in-law. Regency Place is the best of several senior residences I have visited in my various elder care experiences.
