Rei Do Gado Brazilian Steak House & Seafood, San Diego CA

Great good and great atmosphere. So.f times I dealt like the server forgot about us, but they were really busy.

So we went here for my birthday, it was okay. I have been to other Brazilian steak houses with better service. We did not get offered all the meats that were on that evenings menu. We had to continually ask even though the green was up on our table. They did have lobster, which was a nice addition. We were a party of 8.but as I said service was a bit slow in addition to having to ask and wait on meats, our drinks were empty for a long time.
The lamb was delicious, but the beef rib was not cooked down enough and was awful greasy. Half the time they said they could not serve us due to the meat being too rare. I actually like my meat more rare.
The grilled pineapple was quite nice. They did have decent covid protocols.

If you like unlimited meat, come here.
Some of the most tender, juicy, delicious meats I've ever come across. And all you could ever want. If you don't tell them to stop, they will just keep bringing more and more.

But don't fill up on the first round, taste everything first. You will have a favorite so keep track. Some items like the lamb chops are only upon request so look at the menu and don't be afraid to ask.
Not to forget the salads and sides bar, and the tub of melted garlic butter.

All the staff are friendly and very informative. The atmosphere was comfortable, friendly, fun, and intimate.

Just ok. Nothing really stood out. Even the meats were mediocre. Seafood selection was disappointing

This restaurant is inside CA original farmer's market n it's quite popular. There is always a line. It's buffet style n they weigh it at the end before u pay. Everything is delicious! Potato salad, pasta salad, beet salad, plantain, bread, different cuts of meat etc. Sooo good!

Food here is beyond expectations compared to neighboring Brazilian restaurants. Place needs a remodel but service/food make up for it

I don't usually eat a lot of red meat, but we went for a special occasion and it was delicious! The service was friendly and I can honestly say I have never had better tasting steak. I especially loved the filet mignon and the sirloin

Meat quality is really good. Its just too rear for me. I like my steaks and meat to be more cooked and with a delicious flavor. Ive taste it like that before and it could be done. Thats just how they cook it here. Salad barbis too small and with low options of choices. I really thought it will be better honestly. Costumer service here was ok.

This place is amazing I can't wait to go back my wife talks about it all the time because I took her there for her birthday and she loved it. Shh so did I but don't tell her that I'll be forced to go every weekend lol

The food was good but the crab legs were cold, one waiter kept calling my wife "lady" instead of ma'am or anything remotely formal, and many of the larger cuts of meat never made their way up our table towards the front.in over an hour the were about 3 types of steak were never saw.

The real deal. Authentic. A better selection Of both meats and salad bar items. Far superior to the fake Brazilian restaurant chain a few blocks away.

If you love meat, steak, this is the place. Bring your wallet! Very fancy restaurant, excellent selection.

I enjoyed it! We had unlimited meat with unlimited house wine/beer. Most of the cuts were very good.

OMG! This has to be one of the best places I have ever eaten. The food was absolutely amazing! They bring slabs of different meat every few minutes and also has a delicious buffet. Staff is suoer nice. Bring your appetite when go here. You will not be disappointed. Strongly recommended!

Definitely the best place to eat after touring the gaslamp and downtown districts of San Diego. Great meats and buffet selection is ready for any size appetite!

Service was slow and rude trying to avoid eye contact to aviod table food was cold at bar and got a weird vibe from the beginning.

The food was pretty good, all the meats were well cooked and well seasoned. We had a fairly large group and were seated in the back room, I think this was the cause of us being mostly forgotten. Then another group was seated back with us and they got first stop with meats that we requested. The food was good the experience a bit disappointing.

Phenomenal! The atmosphere was very tranquil. The food was delicious. The choice of different meats was wonderful, so many different flavors for each meat. I want to come back here again.

Loved the buffet. Great light salad options. Got the cheapest lunch option for $25 and ate a ton. New meats came around anywhere between every 2 mins to every 5 mins. Got 1-3 pieces each. The cinammon pineapple was amazing!

We sat outside which was nice, but there were a lot of pedestrians and homeless people around there.

First time here, and really impressed. Love that it is a smaller venue, but the food and service are impecable! Go here instead of the bigger "chain" restaurants.
