We just left today, and can’t wait to go back. Mayra checked us in - she was so helpful and friendly, and really started our trip off right. Our suite was beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool is so big and warm, and there was plenty of poolside seating. My 3 year old LOVED the kiddie pool, and I loved that I could lounge in a chair watching her, with a view of the hotel, palm trees, and the mountains behind her. It was really relaxing. There’s also a sand area for kids to play in, and corn hole. The hotel is in a great location.

Most of The staff were extremely nice. However, I spoke to one woman who worked at the hotel who wasn't very nice at all. When my husband checked in at the front desk a nice gentleman that checked him in said that if you want to get something to eat the grill will be closing soon. We had a few questions, so when we got up to the room, I called and spoke to the operator. I asked to be transferred to the grill

I had a GREAT stay here recently (Oct 2021). I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews (post booking), but the hotel and room was very nice, very clean, and with a great view! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Perfect location! The pool area is HUGE and beautiful. They also have a large seating area with outdoor firepits, which is nice in the cooler evenings. On-site restaurant/bar area as well. I was a bit surprised about the fine print additional per night parking fee ($35 self parking/$50 valet), especially given their ample availability. I've only ever seen this large Cities where parking is limited. But I was told if you're a Rewards Member they'd waive/discount it; sign up in advance. I was only there one night, so not a biggie, but those unexpected fees could definitely add up if you were staying longer.

As a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member, I've stayed at a lot of hotels over the years and I have to say the customer service at the Renaissance Palm Springs is unmatched. By far the best I have ever experienced during any of my hotel stays. I'm hard to please most of the time, but this team was consistently good throughout my 5 day stay. Charlie at the front desk was welcoming and joyful every time we saw him. Myra struck up a random conversation that was about our day but ended up making a lasting impression. Matt was delight every time I saw him whether it be for breakfast or at the pool. Whenever Tim saw me walking through the hotel he always asked how things where going. Finally, I wish I had the name of our waitress on Tuesday night, because she was kind, attentive, and humorous.

I'm already planning my next trip!

I would give this place 4/5 stars but they use heavy perfume on their linens and bed sheets and it was incredibly irritating to my nose and throat and skin. Unfortunately, I got no sleep as well as a rough allergic reaction.

Had a reservation from 10/14 to 10/17. Marriott Gold Member. Plans changed and on 10/11 I went online and changed the reservation to 10/29 thru 11/1. On the hotel website - it said that i had until 11: 59pm on 10/11 to make these changes. Got the green box that said "Reservation Updated". Next day it reverted to original. Called the property. They told me I would be transferred to central reservations. Wait time according to automated voice "one hour and 10 minutes". Waited 15 minutes and had to hang up. Called back property and talked to "Will" the Front Desk Manager who informed me that I had no other option other than to wait on hold at Central Reservations but also pointed out that they would likely tell me "no". I asked to talk to a manager and he told me that he was as high as I could go. So basically I will lose $300 for one night of no-show. I'll take my business to Hilton properties where I'm seem to be appreciated and they seem to be more easy to work with.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel with my two small children (Oct of 2021) and we had an amazing time. It was my first time staying at this hotel and I'm glad we booked here because they took really good care of us for our entire stay. The entrance of the resort is very nice with a large water fountain out front. Parking is right by the entrance which is very convenient for getting luggage to the room. (There is a fee for overnight parking.) The room was clean and spacious. We had a balcony which was nice. The hotel had a restaurant and bar inside the resort and by the pool. The kids and I hung out by the pool for the majority of our stay. The poolside servers and bartenders were very friendly to us. Very accommodating due to my kids being super picky about what they'll eat. We forgot sunscreen and the front desk took care of us with that as well. We definitely plan to return in the future.

My experience with this Marriot property was extremely poor. The property did not measure up to the standards of a premium category. The following are a few deficiencies:
Room: -
Distance from check in to room was so fare. Not suitable for seniors and anyone with a disability.
Bathroom sink plugged, stopper broken
Duvet cover worn missing buttons and stained.
Covers on paper cups for coffee rips- previously opened
A/C unit extremely loud
Hotel: -
Front of the whole staff would benefit for their hospitality training. Communication training- education regarding brand standards
Huge dog decoration placed in front of check-in desk. This is a major tripping hazard (witnessed older lady almost trip on decor)
Front desk unable to provide change for bills, for the guests
Restaurant: -
Buffet breakfast cold, two day in a row
1st day- Waited 7mins for someone to (acknowledge) seat us for breakfast buffet, virtually no one around. We finally just sat ourselves and eventually were served coffee and water. Availability; no brown bread, bengals, mini danish. Eggs bacon cold
Several guests sat themselves after waiting so long other guests just left. (One fellow was obviously not pleased waiting so long to be seated)
Staff appeared disengaged and un-caring of the guest experience. So disappointing!
Buffet breakfast- 2nd day- we were seated and didn’t have to wait however with no cutlery, salt peeper shaker etc. When we asked for cutlery we were given a small salad fork and a knife no spoon? Had to stir coffee with knife. Truly a comedy of errors!
Buffet breakfast- give the bill before eaten
I could continue…just be away. Travel Lodge would have been a better more economical choice.

So, this hotel is a little dated and some things are showing their age (water heater/pressure is a little weird), but you just can't beat the overall experience with the staff. They are all very pleasant and they go above and beyond for their guests. The pool bar has a very limited menu and my child is such a picky eater, they made her something that wasn't on their menu and it was really good. Also, I noticed that some of the other reviewers on here pointed out that the pool food wasn't very good. I think it depends on what you order. I can say that the chips and guacamole are pretty decent, as are the fish tacos. I will definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Try to be patient with the hotel maintenance overall.they are still trying to recover from the pandemic and you can visibly see employees working to make things better. We had a pretty intense storm happen here during our stay and the next day, the staff were out and about quickly cleaning and fixing things in the public areas.

Carpet was dirty and stained, air conditioner loud ruined nights sleep. Pool closed at 8pm! Way over priced for a place that can't or won't keep the pool open till 11pm. I'll pass on it.

Maybe our experience was unique, but the first room they gave us smelled of cigarettes and had a terrible view. When we asked for another room, they gave us a larger room bit with a similar view of discarded qtips, drink cups.and cigarette packs. Fine, we weren't planning on being in the room that much anyway, and at least the bed was comfortable. And this one smelled a lot better, strange because the place is non-smoking. The new room was next to the laundry service, and so we heard banging of laundry carts fairly often. Anyway, a lot can be forgiven with a good bed and a working shower with hot water. Unfortunately, we didn't often have hot water; about half the time for our 3-day stay the water stayed cold. The pool was decent. There are three elevators all grouped up at one end of the hotel, and our room was at the other end. There was a shortcut stairway that took us into a service hallway that helped but was a little peculiar. All this can be yours, too, for $200 per night.

There are frankly many better choices within walking distance. We cut short our stay and found a really nice room at one of the many inns in the area with a view, a pool, great service, and silence. Don't make the mistake we did, and go elsewhere.

I got amazed at this inn since they have picture-commendable insides as well as they have magnificent client assistance! In addition their rates are likewise so reasonable!

Big renovated rooms. Loved the seating area and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the decor! The pool was amazing! Definitely the best part of the resort! Bar was good. Nice drinks. Towels were nice. Lots of lounge chairs. Got tub was great. Break was nice. We did that one day.

Out dated rooms old with awful smell would not stay here again. Walking distance to downtown area. A nice wine bar 1/2 block away

Liked the hotel well enough. One atar down for Parking charge per? Day $25 to $35.
And restaurant closes too early and way under_staffed. Pool area is nice.also closes early at 8pm. Very close to diwntown and fair price if you can book at under $200
But add in the parking fee. Other hotels have a similar resort fee but that includes more.coffee etc.but this fee is only walking. Walk or take uber i guess?

This place is a total fraud. Save yourself the money and go ANYWHERE else. The pictures look nice but the service is terrible, rooms are disgusting, and overall feel was depressing. Again, book anywhere but here.

I stayed here with a few friends and I do have mixed feelings about the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful but when we were talking to someone at the front desk they had said we’d be on the top floor and later changed us to the 2nd floor for absolutely no reason.

Secondly, I dropped my phone behind the bed and when I went to grab it the dust bomb hit my face, along with the dust there was random peoples trash such as candy, a deodorant lid and a broken outlet. My allergies didn’t have a great time in that situation, I was sneezing for a good 10 minutes.

The pool was decently sized, lots of people which I love. The drinks were top notch but I wouldn’t recommend the food.

The property is beautiful here! The hotel staff is truly superb. From check-in, to the complimentary margarita at check-in, to the pool wait staff, the vibe is friendly and relaxed.

Nice enough hotel and good location but nothing special. And whose idea was it to decorate with a coffin-shaped mirror? (See pic)

Pretty hotel, amazing pool. The rooms are extremely clean with adequate noise control from the outside. I hate that they charge $40 per day for overnight parking.this is Palm Springs, plenty of parking available- charging for it is a little obnoxious.
