This was our first time using a moving company. They were very professional and moved everything quickly.

The moving crew was phenomenal. Efrain, Victor and Esteban (who was so excited about “expecting a baby boy in 9 days! ”) arrived on time, loaded and unloaded everything with professionalism and care.
They worked hard and efficiently non-stop.

It was such a pleasure doing business with Republic Moving from booking to last item moved. Peter Mello inventoried the items and provided a fair quote. Jessica Wicker handled logistics and kept in touch before, during and after the move.

We are very satisfied and will recommend RM&S without hesitation.

We used Republic Moving and Storage about 2 years ago for a cross country move from San Diego to Florida. The crew we had Anthony, Eduardo, Jr, Jose were amazing. They were very friendly and professional. We just recently moved back to San Diego and I called Peter to set up a local move. He was very professional and responsive. I requested the same crew as last time but they were not available that day. We had Efrain, Victor and Osvaldo they were very professional and helpful and got the move done fairly quickly. Jessica the moving coordinator communicated everything timely and answered all my questions. I did have some issues last move but it was with the North American Van lines. I would recommend Republic for any local moves.

Republic moving packaged my home items in San Diego to be shipped overseas. I just received them and everything was wonderful! I was so impressed with how hard the family that is employed by Republic worked at getting all of our items safely stored and wrapped for international waters. Having now seen the quality of everything that arrived, I'm even more impressed. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Thank you!

I was very pleased with republic Storage. They are very well organized at every department especially customer service. Ms Andria Skiff went far and beyond with me. I called her many times and during every conversation she was spot on with every aspect of my inquiries. Great Service!

As an update: after contacting their quality control email below, I never received a response because this company truly does not care at all

This company is ridiculously disorganized and inexperienced. The process of getting a quote was quite easy and convenient, and while they weren't the most inexpensive company I spoke with, they offered the most comprehensive services and soonest estimated delivery date. After agreeing to use their services, I was then given my own dedicated moving coordinator who quickly admitted to me that she lived in Italy, and had never even dealt with coordinating a move from the US to Canada. She did not know the basic requirements needed to ship things across the border and would have to look them up and get back to me. I then was later contacted by an unloading company in Canada asking if they could come unload my shipment that day when I had not even been packed or moved yet, which was another example of how disorganized republic was. I then suddenly never heard from my inexperienced moving coordinator that lived on the other side of the world again, despite having multiple questions before they were set to come pack/load. A month later after I was promised my shipment would have already been delivered, I found out that my belongings had not even yet left the state that I was originally moving from. It's now been over a month since they originally packed up everything and I still have no idea when all of my furniture and belongings will be getting delivered. However, I'm still getting contacted by multiple uncrating services asking to come help uncrate my shipment that I don't even have here in Canada. At this point it would have been more convenient to throw out everything I own and replace it. At one point when I contact them, they were under the impression that I had gotten my shipment two days prior. Now they're saying it could be another 2+ weeks. They don't even keep track of the jobs that they're responsible for. It is unacceptable. DO NOT use this company

They couldn't deliver to my address so I had to pick up myself which I did not mind. So I made an appointment to pick it. I was on time and waited over 40 minutes to be given my things and it was only after I asked why it was taking so long. Staff had just been walking around or on their phones. The only person with customer service skills apparently was an older gentleman from the warehouse who brought out my boxes.

This moving crew was fantastic. They were organized, timely, professional, efficient, hard-working and friendly. They got the job done in a way that made me feel secure about my belongings. I have had to move nine times during my military career and this crew really stands out. Thank you.

Good moving company as I use to work for several moving companies. Too hectic getting into doc down in San Ysidro CA. They need more docs and not first come first serve (oops I just cut in line). I had to wait 5 hours.no Bueno. They were friendly and solid though.

What a GREAT DAY!

All of the stuff that we accumulated in the past 20 years finally arrived in our new home safely and in one piece…many pieces. All of these come with lots of great memories. They are all part of our lives. We truly appreciate your crew for taking care of them. They were very professional and even made me feel like I should work with them. Their team work made me miss my Time in the Marines. They did not only completed their job very well, but they treated our stuff as their own. And that for us is very special and an AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. We have moved 10 different times and in and out of the count throughout my 20 years of military service. But your crew is the best I have seen out of the United States. They endured our 4-story home with smile in their faces. I wish your company would give them a hefty pay increase they truly and absolutely deserve. They are the team that all other movers should emulate.

My wife and I have been pleased with the movers who worked diligently to move the boxes and furniture from our three-story home. Each worker was hardworking, professional, and friendly. When my wallet had been accidently packed, the warehouse crew worked to find it quickly.

Terrible. Held my stuff for 2 weeks and didn't even bother to contact me. Called during business hours and eas on hold for 2 hours being #1 caller in line. Had to call back on Monday and another 45 min wait being #1 in line.

I used Republic Moving and Storage when I moved from the Bay area to San Diego. There was so much going on that moving just felt like the last thing I could deal with. Fortunately for me, Republic Moving and Storage took care of everything. They showed up on time, packed up everything, and delivered to my new house. All I had to do was board the plane! So grateful to have used them to reduce the stress of moving.

I've had my household goods in the republic moving and storage unit for over a year and a half. All the staff were extremely helpful and professional. They allowed for an easy and smooth process to ship my goods to my new home. Miss Andria kept me very well updated as to the status of not only my stored items, but every step of the transition as well. Top notch customer service. I'm very pleased with my entire experience at republic moving and storage. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The crew and driver were professional and friendly, paying attention to detail and extra careful with moving things without damaging walls, floors etc
Upon arrival to our destination, the crew prepped the house very carefully to avoid damage in the wood floor and to protect the carpeted areas.
Very thorough.
We had some items missing but our driver took an additional hour after everything was in (except the 3 missing items) to go through an extensive check list
The office in Chula Vista coordinated with him a search for the missing items and they were located and shipped via fedex within 3 days!

Considering the long 10 day haul from California to North Carolina, we feel that the work done by all, starting with our excellent local agent that booked us, all the way to the very experienced and thorough driver Randy Smith, and the local crews was beyond satisfactory.
They all made our relocation experience smooth and pleasant and we sincerely thank everyone in this company for this!

Many items were stolen during my move - in addition, too many items for damage. They took no responsibility for all of these issues! STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY!

It was a long distance move from San Diego to Vancouver, Canada. I moved several times in my life and that was my worst experience ever. The total weight of my shipment was overestimated by a factor of almost two. So even though they charged me for the actual weight, the rebate was substantially lower than if the estimate was correct. The loading crew was in such a hurry that they were bumping in the walls and the furniture when loading boxes so when they left I had to do touch-up paint jobs in several places on the walls and doors - we just sold the house in move-in condition. That added more stress because we had to clean and vacate the house the same day. Additionally, I was assured my shipment would not be re-packed, but it was, and as a result some boxes went missing and also the furniture suffered some minor damage. I contacted the move coordinator immediately but was advised just to file the insurance claim. I would never use them again.

To those that got a move coming up and not sure what company to go with, I suggest you try this place out, I know move could be default and stressful, but know that we are here to help ez some of that stress, these guys really go above and beyond to help you to your needs, the service that they offer might be pricey but good service is hard to find at times, but I guarantee that you will be relocate with all your personal belongings in a safe way, along with those that make you feel like your family,

So far worst move ever, please please use a different company. Some stuff wasn't able to get put in the crate and they took it to the warehouse to pack and now all the expensive items that got "packed" at the warehouse are missing. Over a 1000 worth in items are gone. Now I just have to hope I get money back when I go through the claim process.
