Very nice dog friendly trail and waterfall. At this time, the little loop trail is not doable, so have in mind that you may have to hike in and out. We started on the rigth od the parking lot by the waterfall, then followed the signs for the creek bypass, and then turned around since a local warned us the trail back to the parking lot was closed, and the creek had a lot of water after the heavy rain of last night.

The hike is easy enough. The trail can get kind of narrow in places so just be paying attention, but the view is quite nice. I find the trail very relaxing there's a few places you can stop and just kind of zen out. Keep a watchful eye for poison oak but I don't remember there being a ton while I was out there. There is an area where they have a little waterfall which is nice and right next to the waterfall. There's a cave people like to take pictures of themselves in.

The trail is not cleared. At the beginning of the hike, you have to push your way through long grasses, and 30 seconds into the hike I got poison oak on my hand because I didn't see it in the long grass. Please clear the trail!

Not a hard hike at all for a 55 yr old slightly out of shape woman. I rated as moderate because it is not simply a dirt/ gravel trail. It is a little rocky in places but nothing I couldn't handle. I did the shorter loop & can't wait to go back & try a longer one

I LOVE this trail and do it almost every time I go to Morro, SLO or Pismo! Beautiful waterfall, fun hike!

Beautiful - great views of SLO, a nice little waterfall and much of our hike was alongside a creek. Bonus (in spring) : lots of wild flowers!

Limited parking.
No restrooms.
Short walk to the waterfalls, good for kids or children of any age.
Good spot to spend time in nature, close to waterfalls and getting your limbs wet.
Creek is not deep, shallow is many areas and easy to cross over to the other side. I wonder how deep is the cave under the falls and what's in there.

Beautiful place. Easily accessible waterfall. There is a small cave beside the waterfall. Nice mystery.

Very nice place to hike. We took the short trail around the creek. It's about a 1 mile loop. There's plenty of water now due to the recent rain. We had to cross some parts of the creek. There were logs placed over to cross. We had fun looking at the rocks and listening to the running creek. We did not get to do the whole reservoir loop which is a little over 5 miles but will definitely come back to complete it. We got to see a very nice sunrise.

I absolutely love this trail. There not usually very many people, which is nice. Not always well-maintained, but definitely hikable. The stream and waterfall are incredible! The left turn back onto 101s is very difficult, and sometimes it's easier just to turn right and flip around at stagecoach.
