Wholesaler Restaurant Depot reviews
5Although this place is convenient, I have a strong dislike for the experience at the register. Every time I pay, I have to wait for a manager to be available so they can double-check the cashier's item count. Additionally, the receipt is excessively long and difficult to scan for accounting purposes. It's frustrating that a they wouldn't take these issues into consideration. Overall, the experience is quite irritating and inconvenient making it a place I avoid to shop at as much as possible.
I was very impressed with Destiny, who was calm under pressure. It was a Sunday, late morning. The line was backed up because there were only two cashiers. I noticed walking out the door that I was overcharged for an item. I approached Destiny and it was obvious she was being pulled in many directions - customers and employees all wanting her attention, all wanting her to fix their problem, including me. She wizzed by me but didn’t ignore me, which I expected her to do. We made eye contact and I knew to follow her to the other side of the store. She was busy because many of her staff had called in that day. Nice guys, thanks. Destiny was able to move with efficiency, without panicking, and most importantly, with a pleasant attitude. Kudos to you Destiny for keeping your cool under pressure. Now that’s class. Just look for the beautiful woman in cowboy boots.
Destiny deserves 5 stars. The reason I gave this place 3 is because of the yahoo in the cooler. He was very reluctant to help me and had a bad attitude. If he was one of my employees…well, he just wouldn’t be.
Prices: Good
Variety of foods/ products: Good
Customer service in person: Good
Customer service via phone: Unprofessional
The worst I've ever experienced. There is no professionalism, there is no introduction to whom you speaking to, no clarity if item # is available OR not, everyone who I was transferred to was rude. There is no reason why anyone should be rude to us, all we are trying to do is buy from the company. I see I am not the only one who has experienced the same issue, it is shocking to me that management has not addressed this behavior. I do not need owner/management to reply to my message, just fix this issue.
Bring your jacket! The freezer section alone is bigger than most grocery stores. Humongous warehouse like place with everything under the sun, restaurant, and kitchen related. All food sold in commercial size packs. 2-3 families can shop here and divide the portions. Do need membership to shop here. And yes, they do accept credit cards. One trip here should suffice a medium-sized family with groceries for 2-3 months. Lastly, some items are actually cheaper at Costco, so do your homework.
