RESTAURANT TIPICO OAXAQUENO reviews
16The place is quiet, good space but I think they lack staff, there was only one waitress and it took a long time for the service.
I was there on a Sunday and the waitresses were not friendly at all and were not attentive to one, I was seated for 30 minutes to order the food and you can imagine the time in which the food arrived. Besides, they didn't even bring the sparks, at least to be waiting. The food is good but the service is terrible.
Food was cold, bland, lacking seasoning. There were a bunch of mosquitoes flying in my face as I was eating. I only liked their horchata if I’m being honest and their music. Waitress didn’t come once to our table after we got out food.
Dont know what happened but we waited over 40 mins just for the server to tell us that the cook messed up on most our food and was barely being worked on. 3 customers got in to order Togo and got their food b4 us.and they can't even accommodate for their problem.will he the 1st and last time there
Plus rice tasted old and like it was microwaved from a plastic bag from the store.and so is the beans.tasted so much like refried can beans
We ordered a shrimp broth
And it was horrible
To start, it was pure broth, it came with a single slice of carrot and about 5 shrimp. The plate was full of broth. They forgot to bring us fishing rods and the owner was there and they told him, but nothing happened.
Very bad service and food
Zero For the Oaxaca restaurant.
Disappointed. Waited 50 min for a dine in order to be told they messed up an order and havent started. I saw 3 people who walked in to order and they got their food first.
Service was all bad she's was with an attitude shame on this place they need better service with good attitudes!
I ordered a seven seas and it was Very Bad, a lot of broth and Almost no vegetables and fish, shrimp and the rest Very thin and VERY Expensive!
My mom asked for A shrimp broth and the SAME thing happened.
I do not recommend it is
Expensive and Bad service they forget to bring the tortillas!
Michelada was awful
I won't bore you with everything horrible that My Daughter's & I Experienced, so I'll just give you the highlights.
1) The table that was in front if my daughter hadn't been wiped off ever, I say that because she found what looked like a booger under her napkin, and it was hard, so you know uts been there for a minute!
2) my Youngest daughter found a baby roach in her rice and what looked like about 2 legs as well.
3) my asada tacos tasted TART and later that night I found out why, let's just say tgat was Friday evening, it's Sunday night now and I still have Chorro!
I'll stop here, I won't get into the Bad stuff. If you love yourself or your family don't ever go here!
How are you advising molcajetes, and you serve it in a plastic molcajete dish thumbs down shrimp cocktail not tasty nor satisfying at all. Prices way too expensive for taste let me tell you MICRO MANAGED. NOT COOL
Food is super good, employees make you feel welcomed. It was our 1st time there and my family and I had a great time there. Highly recommended!
We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from camping. Great decision! Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was very nice, and the food was great If we are ever back in the area, we will stop by to try lunch of dinner!
Yesterday 7/14 I ordered food to go. I frequently order take out from this restaurant.
I am always satisfied with the food, I recommend the tamales de mole and tlayudas mixtas.
However the service yesterday was very bad.
When I called in the order the woman who answered the phone was rude. When we picked up our order my husband went inside to get it and she also had a bad attitude so it wasn’t just my impression when I called in.
When we got home (we live across town in West Fresno) part of our order was missing so I had to drive back to pick up my cold food.
All I got was a meek “I apologize” from the male cashier.
If anything it should be the rude female apologizing.
We all have bad days but this is not the first time I’ve encountered rude behavior from the female staff (I don’t remember if it was the same waitress). We chose to spend our money at your restaurant because the food is good and it is very unpleasant to encounter employees who act impolite.
Delicious food, my favorite is the clayuda or tlayuda vegetariana. The mole negro is very good, the best!
The drink on the first picture, is Horchata preparada, the second one is mole negro which we took home for mom, the third one was the left over from or plato de mole!
Food was OK. Service was good. The Michelada’s were not good at all. I got the shrimp cocktail was good and the tacos the saw they were excellent.
