I've been working with Zach for almost a year now, and he has been instrumental in changing the direction of my health. He's helped me incorporate lifelong healthy eating habits, and guided me through exercise despite challenges a lower back injury. Zach is also a genuinely fun and nice person, and he has been a pillar of motivation in reaching my health goals!

Saying Zach saved my life is only a slight exaggeration. After a sudden and unprovoked back injury that left me unable to sit or walk (often being in so much pain I couldn't move or get out of bed) I had gone to see specialists, PT, and Chiro. After about 8 months of no real change from PT or Chiro, I was desperate and facing the daunting prospect of intense pain meds and spinal surgery.

As a last attempt, I decided to trust my gut and went in search of a personal trainer to strengthen my core and focus on mobility. I was matched with Zach at Diakadi and safe to say, he absolutely transformed my life, my body, and saved me from that surgery.

We established a regular routine of 2-3 sessions per week, and not only did Zach help me regain confidence in mobility, he helped me to strengthen my core, build overall strength, lean down, and in turn inspired a more healthy lifestyle. His holistic perspective on health extended far beyond mere our training sessions. He introduced me to a lifestyle that's not just about exercise but about intentional choices that have reshaped my entire well-being. Within about 3 months, I had zero back pain. No more pain meds, no more surgery. I could even run again! I'm so grateful to him for saving me from that spinal surgery. Two years later, and I'm still going strong. I cannot express my gratitude enough. He really changed my life.

Through his guidance, I've not only become stronger and leaner but also adopted a more mindful and intentional diet. His advice went beyond the gym, offering invaluable tips for maintaining fitness routines during vacations and adapting workouts to hotel gyms. It's remarkable how he managed to seamlessly integrate fitness and mindfulness about diet into every aspect of life.

His dedication to creating a tailored routine that suited my needs and abilities has been truly exceptional. His positivity and encouragement has been a constant source of motivation on this journey. I've developed new habits that have kept my core, and back, strong and without incident since.

I cannot recommend Zach highly enough. He's not just a fitness coach; he's an inspirational and fun person and life changer. Zach was an amazing trainer to me! I’m new to strength training and he was very patient as I went through my learning curve. He was also nimble and adapted his technique according to my ability. He held me accountable throughout the program and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

I first started working with Zach after several months of physical therapy following major orthopedic surgery. I wanted to address my resulting asymmetry in strength and loss of a consistent exercise routine. Over the past several months we’ve made major progress towards those goals. I have also seen (and measured!) significant improvements to my posture and muscle mass.

Zach’s greatest strength is his thoroughness. He methodically cycles through muscle groups and movement types which has been helpful for addressing my asymmetry. His programming is specific and sustainable. He is able to be specific about how to execute exercises which matches my own body awareness as a dancer. Zach’s demeanor is calm and matter-of-fact making our sessions approachable.
