Rhythm Bikes, Oakland CA

I feel privileged to have the best bike shop in Oakland right in my own neighborhood. All the employees and owner (not sure who is who) are very professional AND personable, and even though they seem to live for biking, they all are very un-condescending for those of us who are more hobbyists. They've hooked my family up with everything from hard to find parts to, to moderate repairs, to full-on custom ordered new bikes with perfect builds.

Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and wide array of high quality products in stock.

Great local bike store. Very knowledgeable staff. They have helped me out a couple times urgently when I had a flat or wipe out (to make sure my bike was safe to ride). Prices are maybe a little higher than some other stores, but they have high integrity and I’m happy to support them.
Update: I had some shifting problems on my bike for quite a while. Chad expertly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Really nice, friendly staff, and accommodated my schedule needs.

Great bike shop. Definitely more geared towards mountain riding, which is nice because most bike shops aren't. Knowledgeable staff with friendly honest mechanics. I just bought a bike from them and will be going back for parts and maintenance.

Just got another great experience. Had a wobbled wheel on my mountain bike. Despite arriving after store closure, Chad took the time to look at it and fix the problem, which took more time than anticipated, yet was done gracefully and on top, additional fixes were taken care of. That is great customer service!

I came in 30 minutes before closing to drop my bike off for dropper cable repair and they replaced it while i waited along with replacing some stuck tire valves.wow.fantastic service.thank you.
