Richard Lin, DO reviews
14STOP! No need to look any further on your search for a life saving, life altering, life improving back surgeon. Dr. Richard Lin is an ARTIST and is the best of the best and it shows in his work and his confidence level. Dr. Lin doesn't walk away from difficult cases he runs to them, taking on the most difficult cases. I was injured in a car accident 9 years prior to meeting Dr. Lin. I had searched all of Orange County, Riverside County and Los Angeles County to help me, seeing endless surgeons that turned me away. I had lost a significant amount of feeling from my waist down. Even though I had lost a great deal of feeling I had severe nerve pain stemming from my low back down my legs to my feet. I had back surgery in 2013, I had follow up treatments, I had a pain pump going in to my spinal cord 24 hours a day. Dr. Lin met me while I was hospitalized. I had lost hope because no surgeons would touch me due to the complexity of my case. Dr. Richard Lin came in and saw me and said. I CAN do this. I WANT to do this for you. Dr Lin was kind, treated me with the respect any human being would want. Dr. Lin performed a two day surgery in Feb 2022. As of today November 2023 I have had my pain pump removed, the nerve pain I had is gone, I have regained a good measure of my life back. Dr. Richard Lin is not just any surgeon, he cares about his patients on a personal level. I couldn't be more grateful that he walked in my hospital room that day while I felt hopeless in a hospital bed ready to give up on life.
He is the best doctor. Before I met Dr. Lin, I couldn't walk with my back straight and had severe pain lying down and sitting down. I'm living a new life after the surgery on Dr. Lin. The surgery was very successful. He is a good doctor and has always been kind. I am so grateful to Dr. Lin and his staff for always being kind.
Much gratitude and respect for Dr. Lin in providing excellent care for my husband. His knowledge, hands on approach and genuine caring nature is outstanding. So confident in his treatment plan and wonderful staff that we have referred friends to Dr. Lin.
Appreciate the advice from this doctor. Came in for a second opinion for my family member. They have had mulitple surgeries procedures on their body and are scared to have surgery on their spine. Thank you Dr. Lin for recommending something other than surgery for my mother. She wanted to avoid surgery as much as possible. Thank you to the staff for helping her throughout this process and being so kind.
I initially came in to see Dr. Lin for my shoulder pain. Turns out it was my neck that was causing my shoulder pain. Thank you doctor for taking the time to explain the cause for the pain I was having. I would highly rec.this doctor. Second, I really appreciate how kind and professional the staff was with me. I've been having this pain for 6 months before seeing someone and glad to have a plan to help with the pain.
Recently came in to see Dr. Lin for my back pain. I was really impressed with the doctor and his staff. His staff was very sweet and helpful and doctor was very knowledgeable. He recommended some home exercises to do to help with my lower back pain and i've been doing it for a few weeks and it's helped! Thank you Dr. Lin and his staff.
Everything on website says he handles any kind of spine problems. I called for an appointment and was told he doesn't take patients with my problem which is Neuroforaminal stenosis of thoracic spine and buldge of thoracic disc without myelopathy. Guess I'm not sure what "any kind of spine problems" means.
Just want to say Dr. Lin is a caring doctor. I would of had to have surgery which my daughter did not want me to have. I have had back pain for 7 years and after 1 MRI Dr. Lin found the problem and instead of surgery he suggested physical therapy. After 4 months I have gotten my life back. I am so thankful to him and his staff. Thank you Dr. Lin.
What an amazing Dr! Can’t believe how successful my uncles surgery was. He’s in his 60s and had 5 levels of his spine decompressed. He accepted my uncles insurance even though he’s poor and on disability. They way that he talks to my uncle is also a huge factor. He makes my uncle feel comfortable and has such a humble attitude that my family felt he was easy to approach with questions and concerns. He deeply cares about his patients and I think the most evidence of this is the fact that he declined to do surgery on my uncle until he knew my uncle had sufficient family support nearby.
My wife saw Dr. Lin for her low back pain. Dr. Lin recommended conservative treatment that has helped her. We came for a second opinion because the other doctor wanted to do surgery on her. So thanksful that we saw him. She is doing much better after his recommendations. We cannot thank him and his staff enoough.
This place is horriable at answering the phone i swear no matter what time of day you have an better chance of winning the lotto then them answering
Dr. Lin and his staff at Or Associates of Southern California are awesome. Dr. Lin performed 2 Carpal Tunnel release surgeries that went flawlessly. I am currently recovering from the 2nd one and doing well. I also have a chronic neck disorder that another Orthopedic doctor wanted to do a MAJOR ACDF neck surgery. Let's just put it this way, I'm glad I went to see Dr. Lin. We still have work to do (on my neck) and I appreciate you all. Special shout out to nurse Lilly! I am so grateful and thanks you from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work!
Dr. Lin is a knowledgeable, professional and very kind doctor. One of his receptionists was rude to me, but I let the doctor know and he handled it well.
For a year I tried to avoid surgery for my spine because I was so scared. Pain management had stopped working and I feared I would never be able to work as a pastry chef or enjoy backpacking again. Although I was terrified of going under the knife, Dr. Lin assured me I would be back to work in the kitchen as well as backpacking, so I scheduled the surgery. I am so happy with this decision. The unbearable pain that shot down the entire lower half of my body, that I had been experiencing for over a year, was completely gone immediately after surgery. My post op x-rays were quite literally a work of art. Dr. Lin is a wonderfully skilled surgeon. Currently I'm 4 weeks out from surgery, I feel great, and I just returned from an enjoyable pain-free 3 mile walk. I can't wait to get back to work, and I know I'll be backpacking again next year. Dr. Lin gave me my joy back, and I can't thank or recommend him enough. Also, his staff is excellent, so helpful, patient, and organized. All around, just an absolutely amazing experience. Thank you!
