I recently took my car to Rich's Auto Repair and Smog in Sonora, and I must say that I was impressed with the level of service and expertise provided by the team. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to diagnose and fix the issue with my vehicle in a timely and efficient manner.

The prices were also reasonable for the quality of service provided, and I appreciated the transparent communication and explanation of the work done on my car. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the team was courteous and respectful throughout the entire process.

The only reason I am giving it a 4-star rating instead of 5 is that the shop was a bit difficult to find and access, and the parking lot was a bit cramped. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall quality of service provided by Rich's Auto Repair and Smog.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this auto repair shop to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy service in Sonora.

They are the only place certified to smog after a vehicle fails with gross polluter tag? Before I bought it. They told me no twice in 1 month but every shop kept telling me to go there. They finally agreed after stating the last one they did got them in trouble, not my fault. One hour before my appt for smog I get called and told their machine just broke. Bull. I don't know why they did that? Except I did tell them I knew the couldn't refuse to do the smog. I just want tags, a smog is all I need. That is no way to do things, lying, but I'm reporting them to BAR tomorrow. Since this all went about I have to admit that they did get in touch and is going to get my smog done. I have had a few cars smogged there in the past, never a problem. So good for them for making it happen this week, thanks. They are some decent people after all. I appreciate that.

Wonderful staff, knowledgeable and very friendly. Super short wait time. I was strangely sad to havr my car done so quickly, as I was enjoying my comversation. 10/10

Very friendly very helpful helped me out before with my vehicle and same day smog that passed my truck I was having problems to pass smog, passed quick and easy and called again for another vehicle, told me to come in the morning definitely a reliable and trust worthy shop thank you

They smogged my car and also check on prices on other stuff to get fixed for me. The staff are very nice people here at Rich's smog and repair shop.

Good place to get your smog done. Be sure to call ahead to book your smog appointment. Courteous staff and depending on your year vehicle very prompt service. Will be returning with any other vehicle.

I am disappointed to say that I do not recommend Rich’s. I recently took my car in for a smog, and although the service was quick, it was a horrible experience. The smog costs almost $70 and my brand new car was damaged by the technician that performed the service. When I went back into my vehicle after the smog was done, I noticed 4 very visible scratches on my brand new dashboard screen that were definitely not there before the service. I reported to the business, but never got a response back from them to make it right. Even worse, the employee that did it lied and said he didn’t. I do not recommend.

Well I got my car back. I would change my review prior well this is my final review. Rich's automotive shop is the place you want to take your vehicle! My vehicle runs better then ever and these guys are the place I'll be taking my vehicle to for a long time.
