Rick's Produce Market reviews
10Everything is Farm to table! Coffee beans come fresh from their farm in El Salvador and roasted the same week you’re drinking it! Produce for their breakfast items (avo toasts, açaí bowls, etc) comes from a farm 2hrs outside of LA. Super friendly service and my coffee was delicious!
Though I didn’t find the cherimoyas I was looking for, the man working the counter was incredibly sweet and helpful and provided some very useful information for my search! He even hand wrote an address for a farmers market he recommended. Thanks a million! 5 stars all around! ️️️️️
First time here. Turkey avocado sandwich and acai smoothie were recommended and it was delicious. All of the ingredients tasted fresh! The fruit was included in the sandwich and they were so fresh and sweet. The bread taste homemade. The Hispanic guy that was taking our order was amazing! He let us sample some goat cheese and offered us ginger shot. Super kind gesture, very appreciative. Loved the spot. Made my soul happy throughout the day, thank you:)
The people and the concept are quality and compelling. Very friendly and presumably a family. Their produce is indeed fresh—but sadly not particularly well-utilized. The açaí smoothie is okay but of that excessively thin, icy texture. The avocado grilled cheese (pictured) was under-toasted with cheese unmelted and avocado spread un (der?) seasoned. The cheese was a nondescript white cheese with very little salt and, frankly, inappropriate for a grilled cheese. The accompanying fruit was good.
Did not try the coffee which folks seem to love. Headline: this place is worth supporting. But don't expect much of the food and drink.
Stumbled in here one morning when the line at Courage Bagels was too long. What a gem! Delicious, fresh, organic smoothies and smoothie bowls. We had the seasonal smoothie bowl with persimmon and the avocado toast. Food was top notch. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love this place. The ingredients in the sandwiches are so fresh and full of flavor. They even give you some fruits along with it. You can grab coffee too, or one of their fresh juices/smoothies.
Since we found out about it, we’ve been coming here every week.
Note it’s not only a market but also a café with food options.
This is a tiny place, all seating is outdoors. There is a private parking lot in the back. There is also street parking. Great fresh produce. The big draw here is the juice. The juices are absolutely fresh and spectacular. There are also yummy smoothies. Why? Because everything is from Organic Farms. There are also bowls and sandwiches. I love this place and I go about once a week. Everyone that works there is super friendly. No table service
UPDATE: As of May 2023, there is now a daily Farmers Market. So well priced because it's produce direct from the farms. No middle man distributor.
Had quite possibly the best acai bowl of my life. It also helps that the people working here are very friendly and warm!
A small store but with its fresh organic products and the service was very good. The guy who was serving was very friendly. They have some delicious natural juices.
Cute neighborhood market with awesome exotic fruits and a friendly staff. Fresh smoothie was delicious.
