Rinconada Trailhead reviews
5Make sure to bring bug spray because the flies here will follow you back to your car! Also i think i saw bear poop or some other large animal's poop! To get to the abandoned mine, go down the path that is the opposite direction from the official trailhead and is fenced off with little graffiti on the fence.my instinct was to follow the graffiti and i was right.the abandoned mine will be on the right after you go down the fenced off path and there is a little arrow graffitied on the tree in front of it.also one part is more steep than you would expect.the little path right in front of the abandoned mine concrete structure thing is VERY narrow and i almost slipped but i survived so be careful
Great hiking trails with beautiful scenery. The abandoned structures have some intricate graffiti.
The entrance to closed off mines is very sketchy - enter at your own risk. If you fall you will probably die. There's also several tunnels in the mines that are straight drops into nothing.
There aren't any restrooms in the area and cell service is spotty.
Cooler than the other side of the pillow, go down in the cave, you won't (no balls). I think I saw a couger up there last time I was there, so like be ready to fight a couger idk.
This place sucks. Too hot, too cold. Hiking is bad. Trails not maintained. Trash everywhere. Go hike somewhere else
A hidden jewel, with in the hidden jewel of the Central Coast trails. Bike up to the Condor viewing station. Gorgeous views.
