My family and I had a wonderful time playing golf, it’s a little warm but staff made it worth it

Delicious food, whatever you order is top quality and super well served. Fettuccini, pizza, wings, rib eye, club sandwich, desserts. The drinks that the bartender prepares are very delicious.

My husband is currently staying here for a few months for work. I was just there visiting for a week. This place is beautiful a little piece of paradise in the desert.

Really enjoying the golf course here, will definitely come back. Trying to enjoy this place to the fullest before the high heats. Definitely a place to enjoy some golf.

BEWARE OF JERRY! This man calls himself security. My family and I, 6 adults, 2 young kids and a 6 month old baby were enjoying the pool (we were the only ones there) when this man yelled through the fence and said “hey hey! Are those drinks from here (seltzers) ? ! ” We said no. He kept pointing to a piece of paper and said no drinks we said ok, we’re finishing up and we’ll throw them out.he said “no! I said get rid of them now! ” so immediately we’re like ok you need to calm down.he took off to grab the Chef, who’s a big buy to talk to us and called the SHERIFFS! Yes! The Sheriffs! I tried explaining to them that we’ve been going to Rio Bend for 30 years with my parents and now we’re there with our kids. I said rules change, we apologize, but the man was OUT OF CONTROL! The sign in the pool area literally says drinks are allowed when the bar is open and you buy from them, so I said we were waiting for the bar to open at 330, it was 3: 25, they said the bar is open inside! So i said, why wouldn’t Jerry just said that? ! We had no problem buying their drinks, their bartenders are actually amazing and super sweet! Jerry just approached us like a Psychopath instead of with reason! We’re paying customers don’t treat me with disrespect over a couple seltzers around an empty pool! BEWARE OF THIS MAN! He will try and send you to jail for no reason! He’s a liability Rio Bend!

There were people sitting at tables around the pool who said they had been coming for 4 years and also had problems with him.

If you’re not a canadian snow bird be aware you will be treated like a criminal. This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues with their “management. ” it’s always something!

It's a 9 hole golf course that's picturesque, well maintained, and close to Imperial Valley for some good golfing experience.

We were at this site 3 different times this winter because it has a pool, hot tub and poolside bar, beautiful garden area and pool tables. Well looked after. My only concern was that the signs don’t match up sometimes for instance there’s a sign that says happy hour at the bar is daily but the area is closed on Mondays (yes I did tell them) The staff and facilities are nice although the clubhouse could use a good scrubbing

I love this place! The staff is all friendly and always helpful. The golf course is beautiful. My favorite golf course in the valley!

This RV resort is truly top notch!

It is very clean and well kept.

The golf course is amazing. I'm not an expert golfer, but was even told by avid golfers on the course that it is very impressive and well kept!

The restaurant has really good food! They have great happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers!

This place is a great place to stay. Nice golf course, great pickleball, and there is a pool, spa, and patio with restaurant and poolside bar are all great.nice Lagoon for fishing and only 15 min to town for shopping.

Great condition a credit to Bob and his crew. Update to 2022/23 we just spent 4.5 months at Rio bend and unfortunately lowered our rating to a 3 due to the lack of care from the owners, the staff try hard to care for the client but the direction from the owners is deplorable.
The fees change without warning the golf rates cannot be trusted. For example, when we booked membership rates were listed, when we arrived memberships were cancelled so we purchased a $540 Punch card only to find out that the course was to be closed for 5 weeks.
And the list goes on. The park could be a great place to stay it's a great setting but the administration shouldn't be trusted.

The resort is a jewel! We ended up extending our stay multiple days. Having the Blue Angels as neighbors is an added bonus. The staff is outstanding to say the least and the food is great. If you happen to be there on a Friday the fish fry is out of bounds. Happy hour can’t be beat, there are great deals on appetizers as well as drink specials. The gym is well appointed and clean. The pool and spa were well taken care of considering how much they are utilized. The pool was a little warm for our liking but a large percentage of the guests liked it to around 85. The grounds are also neat and tidy, only suggestion would be if possible to hold off the leaf blowers until around 0700 (05: 30 was a little early). Would like to give another shout out to all the amazing staff as they really do take the resort to the next level. And finally a special thank you to Mariela for putting up with us and making outstanding cocktails, you are the best!

This place is without a doubt a hidden gem. It is an elderly community, but they are a great time. The golf course, in my opinion, is the best one in all of El Centro. It is only a 9 hole golf course, but you feel like you're in Florida. At night the place loves a great party, we sang karaoke and got to know a lot of the friendly staff and all the travelers that visit. Food is absolutely amazing. This place needs to become more on the map!

Beautiful location, delicious food, and great prices. My favorite spot in the Imperial Valley.
