Rise Pizzeria reviews
9Pizza crust may possibly overpower the toppings! Great pizza! Wings were great and the meatball appetizer was great.the tomato sauce was quite fantastic. What a great meal!
The pizza was *AMAZING*. I came hungry and I was more than satisfied. The pizza is delicious and will be my new go-to. I got the Napoli and the sauce was super tasty. It was made to perfection - the dough and toppings were just right. (I didn't love the fire roasted brussels sprouts but the pizzas more than made up for that).
This is a really nice place. The bruchetta is invigorating, the dough delicate and perfectly cooked, and Pironi on tap. I've had two pizzas and now definitely lean towards the "crushed tomato" side of the menu. The non-tomato may be great for those that cannot partake, but I was definitely a little underwhelmed by the missing flavor and texture, not realizing I was ordering a sauce-less high-temp flatbread. Nonni and Foozi are both fixtures in this restaurant. I don't think they could do it without them!
Rise is one of the few fast-casual spots in Burlingame, and I’ve had a lot of good meals here over the years. The best thing to do is, get a table by the fire pit on the patio, order your favorite pizza, grab a glass of wine, and finish it all off with their homemade cookies (warmed up). It’s an easy breezy delicious and happy dinner. I do miss the toppings bar that existed pre-Covid, but still Rise consistently delivers. Also appreciate a family owned business!
The pizza is great but the menu of the San Mateo version is superior (the "healthy" bowls).
Surprisingly quick service and amazing pizza! The pizzas are mostly not like chain restaurants' -red sauce with cheese and meat. We shared a beef rib pie that was not tangy, but savory, cheesy with crispy, fresh greens and the crust like pita bread, but thinner. Amazing! A bit pricy ($22) I loved it! They make the pizza right behind the the counter, so you can see it made. Pizza served in just a few minutes. Next time, I'll try the draft beers.
Delicious, definitely come here, especially to sit by their outdoor fire on a cold day! The pizza was a perfect sharing portion, and the beer was so quenching after a long day in the city. Great atmosphere, fair prices, friendly staff.
Another restaurant where you just sit and scan a QR code and order by phone without being to talk to someone. Don't consider this a restaurant, but fast food
