Ritha Indian Restaurant reviews
17I've always ordered takeout from Ritha - mostly a lot of their biryanis. I can say the taste and flavor is very close to authentic south indian food. Their tiffins - dosa and idli are also spot on. Would 100% recommend.
We tried the biryani and dosa.food was very delicious.service was great.we will visit again
The food is amazing. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I tried a lot of different dishes, everything was good. Did not disappoint. The owners are sweet and welcoming they make you feel at home. Check out this place you won’t be disappointed.
Stopped in here just before closing. The food was awesome and the staff was really friendly. We will be back
Whenever you come here next, ask for AVAKAYA BIRYANI. Thank me later.
I’m sure there are other nice things here but none better than Avakaya biryani.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Indian restaurant, and I can't stop raving about their biryanis! If you're a biryani enthusiast like me, this place is a must-visit.

Nestled in the heart of the Bay Area, this Indian restaurant is an absolute gem that consistently delivers a memorable dining experience. If you're on the hunt for authentic Indian cuisine with a touch of innovation and impeccable service, look no further. I tried multiple items and everytime wants to visit it.
I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant, and it's safe to say that it's my new go-to spot for breakfast, thanks to its fantastic dosa options. If you're a fan of South Indian cuisine or just a lover of delicious breakfasts, this place is an absolute must-visit.
Very dingy and unclean place. We went there to get some breakfast and the person was extremely rude to us. He shouted saying “I have plenty of orders to take care of and won’t come out if you don’t ring the bell”. We left without having the food but will never come back.
Another hole-in-the-wall snd very authentic Indian cuisine in foster city. Boneless chicken vyrani is my favorite!
About the Location
The location of this place was nice, offering a pleasant atmosphere with both outdoor and indoor seating areas. The ambiance was enjoyable, providing a comfortable setting to dine in.
About the Food
I tried the dosa, idli, and biryani at this place, and I must say they were all ok. The dosa didnt have the crispy texture that we asked for but and was good, while the idli was soft and satisfying. The biryani was also tasty, with well-cooked rice and aromatic spices. However, despite being good, none of the dishes left a lasting impression or had that extra touch of excellence.
In conclusion, this place has a nice location with good outdoor and indoor seating areas. The dosa, idli, and biryani were all enjoyable, but they didn't offer any exceptional flavors. It's an good option for a decent meal, but not one that stands out among the competition.
Went to this restaurant serendipitously and was amazed with the quality of food. Would love to visit again if get a chance. Keep up the quality!
Tasty home style food.
Dosa was very well cooked.
Chhole Bhature were not too oily, which I liked.
The service seemed great at first but it only went downhill. Food wise it was my least favorite restaurant, the rice was regular steamed rice the butter chicken was extremely sweet and there was about 4 pieces of chicken? ! I kept speaking up for someone to come help us and it took about 10minutes for someone to come out.
