River City RV Repair reviews
5Matt, the owner, refused to get on the phone and go over the charges. I go in person! Matt still refuses to discuss the bill, and how we got to $1,400 (without my consent) I had originally been told $135 an hour for labor. Suddenly I’m charged $155 when they do engine work? That price was never quoted to me, nor did I give permission to do the work for that price! The front desk has amnesia and can only say I don’t know, I don’t remember! Matt is not trustworthy! If you can’t look your customers in the eye and discuss their charges, you are shady! I urge you to stay away! He touts that he has so much business, he doesn’t care if he loses business. It’s obvious, because he’s not even trying to be decent! Scum!
Joe the technician is amazing. He communicates at every step in the process. He has extensive knowledge of RV’s. He found the problem quickly and ordered the parts needed for the repair.
Make sure you pay your bill in full. And verify the amount owed. I can't complain though, they did me solid.
Called river city a week ago and they said they would call back with quotes and availability never received a call. Called again yesterday to see if service was possible on a time crunch and I was told as long as they could get parts it wouldn't be a problem and it was okay to bring in this morning. Brought my RV in today and was told the same thing they think it can get done. Then got a call hours later saying it's in no way possible because they are backed up with rv's and are slammed with appointments. I wasted a lot of time bringing my RV to the building and could have brought it to another business yesterday who said they could definitely get it done and to bring it on in. I chose to go with River City because they seemed to provide a bit better service than the competitor. If they are so slammed with appointments and rvs it would have been nice to know that yesterday. Now I'm left with no where to go and the owner Matt chose to hang up on me when expressing that I was frustrated by the situation and asked for a recommendation. Rather than offering a simple apology or recommendation he hung up. Highly unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone waste their time here.
Soooooo they would say we are the not so easy to "read" customers! First we brought in a true job for them! Which meant we had no idea! We expected them to find a lot and they did! Lol
Picking up our motor home and driving it again was like driving another motor home. It drive so AMAZING, we are travelers so this is very important. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY! Everyone would say it was way too much because right now times are HORRIBLE but man I'll say it again WAY WORTH EVERY CENT! They know our work on our pace arrow is not done, tires next! We found the one place to take all our vehicles too!
