I reached out for support. Ready to hire and he never followed up or returned any of my calls. Very unprofessional. I definitely don't recommend someone in this field that does not take potential clients serious. I had a serious issued I needed support on that involved my child being bullied. There was no clear follow up after I left several voice messages. I was ready to hire and enter into an agreement but with this poor follow-up, I decided not to continue the engagement. My experience was not good and normally people don't look to into PI services unless its something serious.

Roberto quickly responded to my email, was reasonably priced, and provided the information I requested in a timely manner.

Incredibly professional. Prompt service. Charges for services are EXTREMELY reasonable, PARTICULARLY in the Northern California region. I cannot recommend Rivera & Associates highly enough for investigative and process serving services. My go-to for this kind of work in this area. Do yourself a favor by retaining them.

I had a great experience with Roberto in my first case, in which I was a client (see my prior review). Since, Roberto expressed interest in taking me on again as a client, but subsequently stopped replying to me entirely—email, text, calls, etc. I have had no luck reaching him, and am not even sure if he is still operating or if he is OK.

I am leaving this review to try to get ahold of him, and will gladly retract it if and when he is able to get back to me. I am sure he has a high volume of clients, but I do believe I deserve to at least be told "no, " rather than being completely ghosted.

Rivera and Associates surpassed my expectations. I originally hired a different investigator that found very little information and seemed to hit a wall. I was disappointed and felt hopeless, I thought that I would try a different investigator that had good reviews. I found and called Rivera Associates. They found almost close to 100 pages of documents that helped me tremendously, I just can't say enough about how great of a job they did. Thank Roberto.really thank you so very much for helping me with my childrens case.

07/19/22 - I am updating my review again. The quality of the background report is worthy of 5 stars. Roberto provided me with the background check this morning and he did apologize for the delay. He also refunded the full fee I paid to him. I appreciate that. The reason for the four-star review is due to the delays. I would recommend his services, but would also recommend establishing a mutually agreeable completion date in advance, especially if your needs are time-sensitive.

06/28/2022 – I am changing my previous 5-star review to 1-star.
I hired and paid Roberto $625 one month ago for a background check on one person. He charged me for 5 hours’ work. Not only have I not received the background report that I paid for, I have emailed him about 10 times requesting a status update and he has not responded to any of those requests. I am very disappointed by his failure to provide the service I paid for and by his lack of professional courtesy to even respond to an email request for follow-up.

PREVIOUS (about 3 years ago) : Professional, efficient, prompt service. Roberto was knowledgeable of the relevant laws and knew how to serve an evasive individual. I'm so relieved to have this done. Well worth $85.

If you are looking for a Private Investigator you have to call Roberto Rivera! He is a stand up guy! My company was looking for someone to help with an issue we had in the Oakland CA area we came across Roberto and he is great! Very prompt and personable! Not only did we think so but another one of his counterparts had asked me who else I had been speaking with regarding our case? When I mentioned Roberto's name he told me right away "He is a good guy and gets the job done! Someone you can trust! " I totally agree! So if you are looking for someone to help you with any investigative issues definitely call Roberto! Thanks again Roberto!

Roberto has done several investigations for me. He has also conducted witness interviews and distilled the key points into succinct summaries for the judge. He is quick and always responsive. I will absolutely continue using his services.

Pricing is fair and reasonable for their services. Mr. Roberto helped us track and serve a notorious scammer - John Garcia, who operates a landscaping company called Montes alto.

Due to some weird process serving rules between counties the service was deemed inadmissible in my local court but Mr. Roberto was kind enough to help re-serve free of charge. Highly recommend him as he went out of his way to help me get closure. Hope this time the miscreant faces justice.

Please DON’T use Roberto as Pi he is a Scam.

I hired him in March 2nd to find someone.

He was very responsive at the first time. Then he took the retainer that same day.

Then I never heard from him ever since.

Try to call many times, left voicemail messages, and emails.

Save your money, and get references from friends and family before hiring a PI.
