Riverside Community Hospital Emergency Room

The staff were very nice! The facilities were dirty. The floor looked like Ross or Walmart. Patients were being treated in the hallway. I had to sit in between two people that were there because of nausea and a rash and the chairs were so close we had to touch. Zero Covid protocols. I was there to get better, not come home with a new sickness. I left and had no idea what to do next for treatment. They couldn’t access test results from Riverside medical clinic. Too many people waiting for help for hours in the hallway. America should be better than this. We need a better system!

The ER staff are so nice and very pleasant. Very organized and the waiting is absolutely incredible, (maybe it depends on the situation of the patient). But otherwise im impressed. Keep it up

Everyone was awesome. They were caring, knowledgeable and spent the time I needed to understand even though it was so busy.

Everyone from the attendant at the door to every single person I dealt with was so amazing, knowledgeable and helpful. They did what they could with my ankle break, the re-splinted a bad splint I had gotten hours earlier at Corona Regional ER. I was in so much pain and they really helped me, I am so grateful they are an awesome crew:)

My nurse was amazing! Thank you so much for hiring such a wonderful woman who took amazing care of me! Her name was Heather and I am so thankful for how amazing she was!

Ambulance brought my eighty year old mom to the emergency. She was experiencing severe muscle spasms. In shoulders through out her legs and ankles. She has severe nerve damage and they just sat her in what the call the fare way for an hour and then some where and left her there to sit. While she was just sitting there spasmsing. To me this was just horrible and unacceptable. She my mom decide not to be treated she could at home and be in pain. So we left. What’s the point of telling a person to go to the emergency if your experience this or that, and you cant be seen for hours. What is the real definition of EMERGENCY!

While my ER visit was caused by rather unexpected & unpleasant emergency, I’m pleased to say the care I received from the staff on duty, including Dr. Prince, Nurse Josh, everyone else who’s names I can’t recall right now and not to forget the EMT guys who transported me there, was so comforting and reassuringly professional that I had no reason to be concerned or worried about my well-being for a single moment.

I really appreciate how the nurses and doctors took care of me here. I came in with a bruised foot and they were able to help me get some crutches and medication to help me heal. They are all very friendly here and I could tell they really care about their patients.

I went to Riverside Community Hospital Emergency due to a hyperactive thyroid which was causing occasional chest pain and tremors for 10 days constant which caused me not to sleep for 10 days. I brought my blood work with me showing a low tsh. The nurse at the front I guess makes the calls before you see a doctor and gave me a ekg and the same bloodwork i had already completed (results in hand). It took me 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room to see a doctor for him to tell me he couldn’t test my t3 ane t4 hormones and prescribed me sleeping medication. Long story short my insurance was billed over $18,000 for me to get an ekg, the bloodwork I already has complete, 30 minutes on an iv (for no reason, 15 minutes in a room shared with 5 other people, and sleeping pills to find out there was really nothing they could do for me. I have left two messages with their management in regards to the billing with no returned call. If this isn’t price gouging I don’t know what is as I have two children with type one diabetes and have never seen a bill quite like this one for pretty much doing nothing for me.

Useless ER my brother went in to seek medical assistance. The Doctor didn't even come in and see him or talk with him. The nurse said his issue needed to be taken up with his General Doctor. He didn't receive any sort of treatment or testing. But watch them bill him like they did something. He should dispute service fees if he didn't even get service. Pathetic.

Very Professional, great service, I could have not asked for any better service. Truly good people that take care of you in the time of need.

I received fairly quick care in the ER, especially given the current state of illness during this time of year. I have been to RCH before and have also volunteered at this hospital. I have always been impressed with the quality of care here by all of the staff.

Was really quick in and out visit for me the nurse who assisted me was so helpful she got me a wheelchair when my back was in so much pain she was the first person to notice I could barely walk. I really wish I could have got her name before I left.

Showed up at 6am for collarbone pain, now 6pm Still no real answer, did x-ray and CT scan, spent most of the day as a pin cushion, nice staff though friendly, I was left in that small chair overnight before I was admitted felt like I was shoved in a corner and forgotten about for the longest time, think things could have gone quicker with better organization, after being admitted for a week my condition worsened to the point where I was concerned about coming out of there alive finally I left against doctors recommendations I left the hospital, within an hour I felt 90% better by the next day I was 110% I truly believe 100% that if I would have stayed I probably would have died the doctors ignored me stating that I felt I was getting worse with the treatment I was receiving, and the problem was getting worse I truly believe the hospital was causing my issue too worsen I highly recommend a different hospital for your own safety and for the safety of your loved ones I have never experienced something so horrible and scary in my life they told me if I would leave so there's a good chance I would die I have nothing but done great in the past 5 months since that hour after I left the hospital I do believe leaving was the best decision I made and probably a life-saving decision being a former firefighter EMT I am somewhat knowledgeable listen to your body and be safe

I am thankful, grateful and blessed to have been treated with dignity and respect by the Doctors, surgeons, nurses and nurses aid.
