Riverside Food Lab reviews
16It looks pretty cool and trendy but that's pretty much it. It's nice that you have different places to choose from like a food court. We ended up getting some pizza for the kids and burgers for my wife and myself and it was very disappointing. Pizza was just some soggy mess and burgers were flavorless. I'll try something different next time if we go again.
What a cool experience and great idea. One spot located downtown exhibiting various different things to eat and drink. I believe there are 2 different bars, plus chicken, plant based burgers, ice cream and more.
I've been here twice. Both times, I've eaten at Monty's. I had the chicken sandwich. It was good as a plant based option. I'll go again.
Very rude young staff. They talk amongst eachother and don't show respect towards their work or customers. Fufu restaurant especially.
Nice restaurant selections. It’s really busy and had an arcade venue. I enjoyed what i got. Seating was tough. There is parking behind the hall. I didn’t know and found a spot on 6th.
Besides the other places in there were great! Avoid the ramen shop AT ALL COSTS! They were very rude and was arguing with my friend after we kindly went to them to get a refund as the food was disgusting. Instead of offering a substitute or refund for the meal they decided to argue and refuse it. They brought over the chef and said because it was slightly touched she couldn't get a refund. It would have to be untouched, HOWEVER in order to see if she liked the food she would have to taste it. Common sense right? We explained that and were still insistent on refusing the refund! I will NEVER EVER going to buy anything from the ramen shop after experiencing that horrible service and food!
The food was amazing it has so many options for you to choose from and all around just a fun experience. Its a great place to go with your family and friends: ]
Small food court style place adjacent to the Riverside Fox theater. Good food, drinks and Arcade, compliments the venue and its awesome events. A definite must visit for all the family.
The Food Lab offers a variety of food and drinks. I tend to go on Fridays after work to unwind. A couple of beers from the Beerfarm and Baba's chicken and then an Old Fashioned at the bar. It's a family friendly place and people even bring their dogs. There is seating inside and outside. I'm usually out of there by 7 so I don't know how it gets later on.
Many small eateries with fair wait time. Ramen, mexican, fried chicken, pizza, and more. Vegan options exist too! Parking in structure is usually free, except $5 during events. Public parking in the neighborhoods nearby, 5 minute walk at most.
Basically an expensive food court. The employees at some of the places seem miserable so the ambiance is so so. I have more fun sitting outside with music, karaoke on Tuesdays is super fun! Game lab is super cool too!
Baba's chicken is so good! Line for them was about twenty deep they were quick with orders and service. All the workers were fantastic and friendly.
Awesome classic cabinets, light gun collection, lots of pin ball machines, and lots of tournaments you can join.plus drinks are themed and pretty tasty, I had Yoshi's island and Princess peach. Had no problems so far there.
I experienced Riverside Food Lab on a Saturday night during the Mission Inn Festival of Lights. It was extremely busy, and the crowds were overwhelming. Most patrons were maskless and were not "socially distant", but all of the employees I saw wore masks.
I chose to eat at SOHO Ramen. The chicken yakisoba and taro milk tea I had weren't very flavorful. The main flavor coming through in the yakisoba was green pepper, and the taro milk tea was bland. The boba itself had a gritty and unpleasant mouth feel.
My boyfriend ate at Pig Pen Delicacy. He ordered a maple burger, and mac n cheese fries. Whoever thought of mac n cheese over french fries is genius. Everything from Pig Pen was delicious.
We were given 40-50 minute waits from both businesses, but received our food within 30 minutes.
I would like to return to the Food Lab, because of the limitless options of food; however, I will likely return at a calmer time.tl;dr: It is extremely busy, and COVID precautions aren't in place. My experience at SOHO Ramen was mediocre, and Pig Pen Delicacy was amazing. Expect very long waits.
Was not too impressed by it I thought it was dirty and people are smoking weed outside the restaurant right there where you can sit down and eat. The prices are really high. Everyone kept telling me about it so I was really excited to go with such a disappointing experience
BABA'S IS PRETTY GOOD. I love that they put the slaw with the slaw sauce on the side. Portions are great and medium spice is a good level if you want to be able to taste it of course. Slather honey on every bite and you won't be disappointed. The Mediterranean place next to it is pretty good to. I think it was the cashier Nathan who helped me out with my order and he is a fantastic individual.
