I have shopped here for many years. The staff at Roadrunner always take good care, listening to what I ask, analyzing my gait, carefully measuring my feet and then finding the best shoe from their huge selection.

Was looking forward to visiting the 'flagship' store in San Diego anticipating something 'a bit better' than other Road Runner Sports stores.

Well.not so much. After putting my name on a 30-minute wait list for the privilege of talking to a salesperson, I looked over at the long checkout line (with only one register open), and decided that nothing there was worth the wait.

I got home, jumped on the internet and ordered my shoes from Hoka (on sale). They'll be delivered to my front door.

Really like to support the 'bricks and mortar' retailer, but this place is 'a swing and a miss'.

Great running shoes and apparel store. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of parking.

I went to road runners super excited because I was getting running shoes for my first marathon. The representative Andrea was pretty off putting. Her demeanor was so off putting she was short and you could tell she did not want to be there. I personally wouldn’t return to that location due to the poor customer service. I only purchased shoes because I needed to but I would not recommend this location as the whole experience was terrible. I hope they can engage their employees more or hire people who want to be there.

For 2 consecutive years, I have requested to be dropped from the VIP program. I was living out of state and had other options. For 2 straight years, even though I was assured that my VIP membership was being cancelled. Yet, on 1/11/23, I was charged AGAIN for the VIP program. Incompetence at it's finest! I wish I could give no stars!

I love how roadrunner stands behind their products and they have great fit experts like “Devante” to help you. I have foot problems and he cared enough to explain things to me and help me get relief. I renewed my membership because of his great customer service and experience.

It was a great experience! Dimitri was super helpful and did a great job evaluating my needs. The manager gave me a pack of socks due to waiting longer than estimated. I was pleasantly surprised. I love going to this store and buy new shoes annually. Highly recommend!

We stopped in here this evening to get my husband new running shoes and had an absolutely phenomenal experience. I've been fitted for shoes before, but what they offer here is above and beyond that. Alyssa analyzed his stride and did a 3D scan of his feet with subsequent analysis of their structure. She made custom insoles for him on the spot before Carlos took over and helped my husband find the perfect shoes. We are thrilled with our purchase and also love the peace of mind of the 90 day guarantee. We will definitely buy more shoes from here in the future.

Loved the brightness of the store, running specific. Most appreciated having the proximity of the clearance center on the opposite side of the store. While very clean and organized, it was a tad bit awkward at first realizing assistance was based on check-in. Staffing was above average so the wait time wasn’t too long. If you know what you’re looking for, that helps to get in and out. Great atmosphere on a rainy evening! The set up for VIP membership was quick and saved me a chunk of change. Also adds 90 days to test run your shoes and get back in if anything isn’t working out. Kudos to this store and team!

Customer service is pretty good, nothing over the top service wise. I’ve been spoiled with REI. I can tell most of the staff is burnt out from the holidays, it’s understandable.
In spite of all that my rep stayed with me the whole time as I pretty much tried every 10 1/2 in the whole store (felt like it anyway).
Wish they had a better selection of fun colors, I’m sure more guy’s would like more colors other than gray and black…right?
I’m not sure about this membership thing that auto renew’s every year?
Time will tell if it’s worth it.
I have been buying a lot of running shoes, so I’m willing to give this a shot.

Friendly, professional, and courteous staff. Originally, I was helped to find an excellent pair of shoes. The shoes did have a minor failure; however, the team helped me resolve this issue quickly and easily. There were several people throughout the process who helped; however, I would like to highlight the names Andi and Jorge who were key to resolving the issues.

Stopped by as a recommendation by my to get good running shoes as I had never gone before. The retail associate, Andrea was very short and acted as she didn’t care to help or answer questions. I tried to be nice and make it a pleasant experience but that’s not my job. I contacted Roadrunner directly to let them know as I mostly made a purchase out of need and did not get the experience I was hoping to get. Unfortunately, who knows who or when they’ll get back to me as I have yet to hear from them.

The scanning machine they also use to make shoe recommendations might also not be too accurate. I purchased shoes that were recommended to me and ended up with blisters on my feet. I went back to exchange the shoes for the size and width I normally get which I hope will work out for me. I say this so that future customers don’t feel pressured to make purchases here. The REI across the street also has similar options.

I have been VIP for 23 years. I felt like PAZ was not attentive, because she was working two people. I was there first, there were other associates available.

Very helpful workers. Large and busy store. Received my new shoes in about five minutes. Loved it

This is the best place to shop for running shoes. Very helpful staff great prices. Nice options very happy with this place.
