Myles was super awesome! He stayed a bit after closing time and showed me a bunch of shoes. I found the shoes I liked. He had answer for everything! 6 out of 5 stars

Big shout out to Nichol- long story, but my son had to return the shoes he was wearing at REI and they didn’t have shoes that he liked at REI. We ran over to road Runner Shoes and got there a few minutes after 6pm (closing time! Nichol was gracious! She not only let is in, but wasn’t upset or pushy. She was patient and sold us both shoes that we loved with excellent customer service.

HIDDEN MEMBERSHIP CHARGES

This company will make it sound like you are getting a small discount by signing up for a discounted membership that will net you savings. They do not tell you that they will continue to charge your credit card annually with no email or notice. There are tons of people complaining about this with Road Runner on the internet. They have an F rating with Better Business Bureau. When I called for a refund and was on hold waiting, the automated system boasts about this company being a family owned business for X years. Clearly that means nothing based on these shady practices. I feel bad for people who don't check their credit card charges regularly. Take your money elsewhere.

Very disappointed with Road Runners Santa Monica. Used to be a beautiful fully stocked store with all the new products. Went there and found a run down dirty store with limited stock. Very helpful staff but had nothing I was looking for. Start by power washing the store front sign. Front of store hasn’t been cleaned in years! Disgusting! The pride in this once great company is gone. CEO should be ashamed! Very sad!

Best place to buy shoes, mostly because of the customer service. Nathan was awesome, so so helpful! And they have a 90 day guarantee. You can try the shoes, wear them, and if they don't work you can bring them back. It's amazing cuz shoes don't always feel the same in action! And if you're looking for Hokas, go here instead of the Hoka in Venice, much better experience here. I've been a Road Runner customer for over a decade and have always had great experiences at many locations. Only suggestion for this one is to get an incline rock slope to test out hiking shoes downhill. Thanks again Nathan!

I always have the BEST experience buying running shoes from this store! The staff are always so friendly and well-informed about the diff types of shoes and what is appropriate for you and they have that VERY cool state of the art machine that measures/assesses your feet I had no idea I should’ve been wearing an entire size larger than what I have been my entire life! So happy I randomly discovered this store when I first moved here and I love that it’s not a corporate chain. If you join their VIP club you get really valuable savings too! Harley was the one who helped me today and was great! I also love that they don’t pressure you to buy the shoes and I also appreciate that after they helped me find my perfect pair they didn’t say “can you please write a review mentioning me? ”

I've always received the most courteous and personable service when shopping for shoes at Road Runner Sports. The high quality footwear is a given, but, I specifically choose Road Runner Sports for all my footwear needs, because I feel heard by persons who care and are knowledgeable about the different shoe brands and styles, (and the particular characteristics of each). I've been fortunate to have Lorenzo's help on numbers of visits, so that I feel comfortable and welcome when I come in the store; my experience with him, has created a relationship of trust, and I have appreciated both his proficiency and his patience. Others of the staff have graciously assisted me, as well, so that I do feel a valued customer. Thanks, Road Runners!

Buyer Beware - I will NEVER order a pair of shoes from Road Runner Sports again. I have been a VIP customer of Road Runner for a long time and have ordered shoes online and returned with no issues prior to this review. I ordered a pair of Hoka Kawana online a couple of weeks ago. When I checked my email for any order updates, I noticed that my shoe order included a shipping address for a place I haven't lived at for 5 years. I called customer service to let them know that they had an old address even though my account has my current address and to make sure my shoes are being delivered to the correct address. The customer service rep looked up my order and said that it was going to the wrong address, that the company isn't responsible for any online orders (only orders placed in store or over the phone) and that all he could do is place a re-route order for a charge of $14. He assured me that I would get an email within a few days with the status update and when the shoes are received back, they can send them out to the correct address. When I asked him to verify the address he will be re-shipping the shoes to, he gave me ANOTHER old address that I haven't lived at for years. I provided the new address again but told him at this point, I would like a refund. After speaking to his supervisor, he told me all they could do is waive the re-route fee and that they cannot refund my money until they get the shoes back. After asking him what happens if the re-route is not successful, he told me they would schedule a pick-up to try to get the shoes back, but that they can't do anything else if they cannot intercept the shoes, though this is the company's website problem. After waiting for a few days, I received an email saying the shoes were delivered to the wrong address.nothing about a re-route and next steps. I called customer service back and gave the previous rep's name and shared the entire story again. This time, I was told they can schedule to try to pick the shoes up, but I need to pay $14. I let them know this was not shared with me in the last conversation and that I've now spent hours on the phone and have no guarantee that even if I pay the money and schedule the pick-up that the shoes will ever get to me. I asked to verify the mailing address that I provided on the previous call - my current address that is in my Road Runner account and the rep STILL did not have my current address. I asked for refund and she put me on hold to speak to a manager. She then told me the only thing they could do is give me 10% off of the price to buy the shoes again with her over the phone. TERRIBLE! I will never order from them again and let them know I would be sharing reviews online so that other people don't have to go through losing $140, never receiving a product and wasting hours of talking to reps who can't do anything to help.

I’ve been buying shoes here for a while they are always so helpful and informative. They let you really try the shoes on to make a good decision and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Unprofessional management and child register representative made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I came in to pick up a pair for sneakers for a friend and was considering buying a pair myself. If you are planning on paying CASH do yourself a favor and go to a different location. The register sales rep acted strange my entire transaction by calling a manager over to observe my entire transaction after counterfeit pen checking my bills. Not a problem. She then gave me the incorrect change (thank god I counted my change) and didn’t apologize. Right before I grabbed my items in my bare hands (zero shopping bags) The manger then proceeded to start rush, aggressively scratching to check my bills again. Overall a very uncomfortable transaction and I would not recommend this experience to anyone. Zero stars for weird vibes.

Upon entering the Santa Monica store, I was immediately greeted by several of the associates who were already assisting customers but assured my someone would assist me shortly. I was assisted by Nathan. He was polite friendly and courteous. After a short series of questions, I was assessed for shoe size, running gait and flat foot flexibility to determine the best type of shoe for me. Technology is truly fascinating. Nathan was knowledgeable and patient. I ultimately purchased 2 pair of running shoes. The VIP membership is a must and I appreciated the fact that they give discounts to running clubs like Black Girls Run.
