We had our approx. 140 sf kitchen remodeled in the summer of 2022. This project included a full tear out down to the studs, and we brought in all new flooring, cabinets, counters, plumbing, appliances, trim and molding, paint, lighting/electrical, and even had to replace two exterior windows with shorter ones to accommodate new counters. We contacted Robert Calvo to give us a quote and I was pleasantly surprised that his quote was very reasonable.

Overall, he did fantastic work. He was on time in the mornings and he worked full days diligently. He completed the project in roughly the time that he originally estimated (there were some supplier delays that weren’t his fault). He even went out of his way to work around our schedule when he came back to the job a couple months later to install the last pieces that were significantly delayed, and he didn’t even think to charge us extra for it.

He provided constructive feedback throughout the design and construction process so we could make the most educated decisions about how to design the layout, what materials to use, and more. He welcomed our questions throughout the process and was eager to accommodate some of our pickier requests without asking for change orders. He was very communicative and always made sure we were happy with the way things were looking as it came along.

While he was working in our home, he was also very courteous and did everything I’d expect to make sure the dust and mess never migrated to other parts of the house. He made sure to cause as little interruption to our already interrupted lives as he could. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience and with how the kitchen turned out in the end. I would highly recommend Robert as a general contractor for any home remodel.

We called our friend Robert when our house flooded and our guest bathroom ended up being completely gutted. He graciously showed up and did an amazing job creating a brand new, and lovely, bathroom for us. We have nothing but praises for the quality of design and work shown in his impeccable craftsmanship. Robert is skilled, knowledgeable, professional, timely and very, very kind. His tile work is truly top notch. It was a joy to work with Robert. Our dogs adored him too

Robert Calvo did an absolutely first class job installing our new front door. This can be a tricky process, requiring someone who is careful and meticulous at every step, as installing a new front door is the marrying of a new product in an existing home, with existing interior and exterior trim. Robert was perfect for the job, beginning by measuring everything several times, and very carefully taking off all the old trim so as not to damage anything. Once the door was in, he had to do some customization on the hardware, as the deadbolt and front handle were manufactured by a different company than the door itself. Robert creatively solved all of these issues, and made it all work perfectly together. I would definitely hire him again, and recommend him to anyone who needs a detail-oriented contractor for their home repair/improvement projects.

Robert is very professional and the quality of his work is amazing. We wouldn't use any other contracor. He's always done with the job on schedule.

Robert came through on a residential addition that I couldn't finish after a shoulder injury. He literally had to pick up the pieces of where I left off and finish the project. Robert did the trim and baseboards, flooring, interior painting, cabinet painting and hardware and door assembly, lights, plumbing and fixtures and exterior stair fixes called by the building inspector, I'm sure I'm missing something. Robert did it all and he did it on time, the right way (even correcting some of my shoddy work), showed up every day and worked until the project was completed. He even showed up to the final inspection to make sure nothing was left undone. He came through in a clutch situation and I am forever grateful.

Mr. Calvo does absolutely fantastic work. We asked him to appraise the handyman-mess that was the kitchen we inherited with our new house (complete with peel & stick backsplash). He gave us a bid that was more than fair, did the work well, and was an absolute professional. Recently we also had an issue with our primary bath and once again he came to our rescue. I highly recommend Mr. Calvo for any job big or small.

I had a great experience with Robert (and his helper, Mike). Robert installed new flooring throughout my house, new baseboards, painted the interior, installed new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, sinks and faucets. He also installed new kitchen appliances, back splash and all new interior doors. He was professional, always punctual, great attention to detail, takes pride in his work and made sure I was completely satisfied. He kept me informed each step of the way, was well organized and always left things clean and tidy at the end of each day. Robert is very easy to work with and he had a lot of good ideas and recommendations. I will definitely use him again and I'd highly recommend him.

Robert Calvo is the best contractor I have ever worked with! I only wish I could give him 10 stars! I have used Roberts services for over 10 years, and the quality of his work is exceptional. Because Robert is a general contractor, he has been able to provide a huge variety of services including: plumbing, carpentry, siding, locksmith, electrical, flooring, & appliance installation.just to name a few.

I sent a message informing him with what I needed (cinder block wall and repairs from car vs structure). He asked for pictures; in which I sent him. After not hearing from him for several days I reached out to him. He replied I thought i had told you already. He doesnt do cinder block walls so I should look for a all in one contractor. So disappointed

Mr. Calvo is highly-qualified and skilled. I would not use another contractor except for him. He has completed multiple jobs for me, and the work is solid and better than expected. I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so here to praise his work.

I used Robert Calvo for the second time for a remodel. This time he did a gut on my bathroom-it was from the 70s. He was reasonable on his price, yes I did check another person, and very professional. He even helped me with picking tiles and accessories. I would not use anyone else and would highly recommend him. I would give him more stars if that was an option.

We are a family that has high standards for work completed on our home. We have used Robert for the last 10 years for various projects from putting a wall up in our house, electrical work, and completing a range of projects designed to fit unique needs of our son. Robert is always professional, timely and we have never had any complaints about his work, only praises for his thorough and quality work.
