Very quick to call towing on you. Be very careful. Do buisness somewhere else if you can. Can be very expensvie here. If expensive go to el fiesta swapmeet get it done cheaper and if you have your prescription even cheaper. And just as good.

The receptionist with squeaky crocs was the WORST. I wish I would have caught her name because the other ladies and the one male were pleasant. But that Bubble Bass looking receptionist had a snotty attitude the entire hour I was there. She treated everyone coming in so poorly like we were there asking her for a favor or we owed her money. Please retrain her on proper costumer service.
I will not be returning.

Time for my annual appt and found this dr in my plan. The receptionist was super pleasant and I had a great eye exam. Dr went through all my questions. Great selection of frames and I chose beautiful Jimmy Choo lenses!

Your policy of not telling a patient their pupillary distance if they don't buy eyeglasses from you is appalling. Every patient has the right to all of their own information in their file, whether they choose to make a purchase or not. This policy reveals that your office's priority is money over patient care.

It’s been a while since I was here. 1.5 yrs. I was very busy and inside mostly. I didn’t have a change to use my sun glasses made here. I used my own glasses, but what I didn’t know was, they would use my same lenses that have a scratch on them. How I didn’t see that is most likely why I were glasses. It’s! I noticed this just a few mo the ago. I just saw this message while deleting other old text messages. It’s late, but my experience is still the same.

This review is solely based on customer service. If I could give this place negative stars I definitely would. When making my appointment Alex gave me such a horrible time, to say she’s is unpleasant and rude would be an understatement. I can not believe she is allowed to talk to patients the way she does. She totally gives the place a bad name. I highly suggest she go through some training or switch her profession. I will not return to this establishment. Owners/management should know that the front faces of the business make a HUGE impact. Alex does not uphold quality customer service skills. Please do better.

I'll start with the cliche "if I could give 0 starts, I would. " However, this place really disappointed me. In August/September, I went here to get my eyes checked, with all the intention of purchasing frames as well. WITH insurance, I paid about $400-$500 for these new glasses. Overpriced? Sure, but I get it. Less than three months later, my glasses literally snapped in half while I was cleaning them, in the same exact way I do every day; which by the way is normal and gentle. Before I came into the office, I called in to let them know. Right off the bat, I was met with "well, unless it's defected by the manufacturer there's nothing we can do. " Obviously, I did not like the fact that they hadn't even seen the glasses and were already telling me they couldn't do anything. I came in, and they kept telling me the same thing. I asked that the issue be escalated, given that I had barely had these glasses for less than three months. I even had the girl at the front desk show me how she'd clean the glasses.it was the exact same way I had been doing it.since I've had glasses since I was 11 (I'm 27). Anyway, in order to shut me up, they sent me home with a loaner and told me they'd be sending my glasses back to the manufacturer and they'd keep me posted. A few days later, I called to check on the status. They let me know that they had received a new pair from the manufacturer and I could go pick them up. I was STOKED and very grateful. Fast forward to two weeks ago, when my glasses snapped in half, yet again while.you guessed it, cleaning them. I once again went over to the office. This time, I was met by Alex, who, upon my initial visit, had also been rude. Right off the bat, Alex let me know that they would not be replacing my glasses nor offering me a loaner pair this time around. I asked if they could ship them off to the manufacturer again, since this is clearly a manufacturing defect. Alex proceeded to tell me that the replacement pair I had received previously was a "courtesy" pair on behalf of the office. However, that was NOT what was told to me when the first pair was replaced. I asked for my file and told them I'd never be returning. I was blatantly lied to, not taken care of, and quite frankly, treated like a burden. Maybe don't be a part of the healthcare industry if you are going to lie, berate, and mistreat your patients. Honestly, save yourselves the time. There are MUCH better places around here that WON'T treat you this way. Leaving them was the best thing I've ever done.

As you can see originally, we came for some glasses, she chose some expensive Versace, by the way, we thought we were paying for quality, they were delivered wrong, not like. We had ordered them and we left them again to be corrected today, 10/3/23.surprise it's 15 dollars to repair it, after all I had
Reason for not returning with my husband to Collins optometry so I have been invited.

The staff that are at the front desk and incredibly rude. Alex is unbelievably unprofessional I don't understand why she feels it is necessary to always be so unpleasant. People this unhappy have no business dealing with customers/patience How is it possible that the faces of this establishment are allowed to carry such attitude. They overbook so despite making an appointment you still have to wait a ridiculous amount of time. The only thing that keeps me coming back to this place are the actual doctors. I have a had a great experience with them.

Over all the visit was great! The stuff was print to help me and answer the question I had. I want to mention that none of but it one! (Could not get her name, sadly) smile! They look like they are forced to work. Or they are hungry. Yes! The ladies were print to help but not a smile or kindness, happiness in their faces.

Docotor was nice and professional but I didn’t give them a 5 star because as a first patient they didn’t give me no paypers work I’m soupoous to ask for my eye results witch I didn’t know because I’m new.

Doctor and service is overall good. I’ve used Robert F. Collins a few years now and I’ve seen three different doctors work here since. The only thing I don’t like is how overpriced their frames are. Sometimes double what the brand sells the frames for. Last time I got two pair of Ray-Bans for about $430 after my insurance discount of $130 off/frame and another 20% discount on top of that. That means they each frame was about $360 which is insanely expensive for RayBan because they were simple frames. Frames that go for $190 and $130 on the RayBan website. To put that into perspective, I went to Linden Optometry in Pasadena and got Versace and Dolce and Gabbana frames for $456 including polarized and all specced out lenses. Robert F Collins need to reconsider their prices. I understand a mark-up but at this point they’re being extremely selfish.
