When I arrived he told me it was the out-drive that was bad and he had one used off another boat sitting on his lot for 1700 with low hours. Come to find out he never had an used out drive and he tried to find one last second. I have done research after the phone with him and a new out-drive would have been the same exact price but would have been new with a warranty. I would recommend doing your research before agreeing to letting him fix your boat.

Very nice man, knows his stuff. Very willing to help. Treats you fairly and prices are good. He always goes the extra mile and does not always charge for it. Works on all models of boats and cars.

I first discovered Robert when I needed a repair on my Sea Ray 180. Sugar in the gas tank. I learned two things- Never loan your boat out and if you ever need an absolute genius mechanic who can troubleshoot and fix literally anything, call Robert. Aside from being the consummate professional, fair and honest as the days are long, Robert is punctual, highly communicative, extremely knowledgeable and intuitive.
During his earlier career, Robert cut his teeth on finicky European cars specializing in the exotics. He owned and operated a Ferrari and Maserati repair shop in Sac back in the 80s/90’s. His preference are now boats primarily because he favors the clientele. Also, his mobile mechanic service offering is an invaluable godsend for the stranded motorist. My navigational ‘Home’ setting is Robert’s shop only because I own four Range Rovers. Guess what- they’re all currently running thanks to Robert. I wouldn’t even consider taking them to a dealership.

Robert is so trustworthy and professional.
It's almost unbelievable that he does such quality work for such fair prices. He is very respectful and responsive. I highly recommend you trust him with your vehicles as I have with mine. If I could give a 10 star review, I would.

With out a doubt Robert is the smartest mechanic in all of placer county PS he is really nice too.
