Rock N Road Cyclery Anaheim Hills reviews
15These C U C K S only have Specialized brand bikes. They must have their heads so far up that brands colons.
Great customer service, very knowledgeable technicians, very respectful and helpful people. Highly recommend this place. I bought a bike three months ago and today I took it to get first time service at no charge. If you live bikes, this is definitely your place.
I needed to have some work done on my bike and after another store told me they didn't work on forks i called this place and they not only told me they could do the work but said it would be ready in a few days! Other stores quoted me 2 weeks for the same work. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. I was very impressed and will go back!
Requested them to install my new brake line housing with enough slack so I could turn fully left or right. They did 1/2. I can turn right as far as I can and turn left half way. There's no refund and they wouldn't fix it after I asked. This is an expensive service already and I feel like I'm not welcomed here because of my "financial social status". I don't make a lot of money like the rest of their customers and yea I bring my cheap bike. But they shouldn't treat me like im nobody. I almost feel ashamed to come here. But this is the only bike store near me.
Took my Specialized Levo in for service because the motor wasn't working. After a few days, they told me it was going to be $1300+, but couldn't give me an exact price.
When I questioned it, they were rude. I said "I'm going to pick my bike up" and they said that I couldn't have my bike back. Seriously? Got another guy on the phone and went to get my bike back.
I went to another dealer and they quoted me $800 to replace the entire motor.
Wonder what he extra $500+ Rock N Road was charging me was for? Not a good experience. Don't waste your time going here.
Follow up:
It was just the belt that needed replacement. I was able to buy the belt online and fix it myself for less than $120.
I love Rock N Road, in general, and love this location, in particular. I don't know if it's because it's near the mountains, but the staff seems to be particularly knowledgeable on all things outdoors. As someone who loves to camp, Rock N Road has been the source of most my gear. Last year I stocked up on a great sleeping bag and sleeping pad. Can't wait to use this May! Look out for their sales to get a good deal on quality products.
Excellent bike shop! They carry a great selection of road and mountain bikes. Many accessories and riding gear in stock as well. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Top notch thru and thru.
Great service and friendly staff. I kept having issues with my derailleur and the mechanic James identified the issue and fixed it. This issue could have easily qualified for a warranty replacement, but he had the knowledge and skills necessary to fix the problem.
Really great service and a great overall experience from Jake and the rest of the team here at Road ‘n Cycle. Called in to check availability on a Specialized Roll for the lady, they had it, was still in a box and 2-hours later - it’s already built and in my car. Doesn’t really get better than that. Fantastic place with equally great customer service and a solid team of guys running the shop. Stellar shop, don’t miss it.
The asian guy who works here has bad energy. He's not helpful and pressures you to leave the store. He's been working there for 5+ years.
Great in-store selection of bikes and accessories. The staff is also very knowledgeable in their field.
Would definitely recommend.
COVID-19: Wear PPEs, practice social distancing, and be patient if there's a line of customers waiting outside.
I purchased a 2012 Specialized Allez Comp here in January 2013. I have been back regularly since for everything: parts, repairs, tune-ups, etc.
The team here is ALWAYS BUSY. So, buckle down if you're not being treated like you're the only bike owner in town. But these guys know what they're talking about and my bike always come out of their shop looking and feeling better than before.
I always refer my friends here when they're ready to buy a serious bike. And they never regret it. #NORAGRATS #NotEvenOneLetter
This review has been a long time coming. I went into the Anaheim store over a month ago to buy a high end mountain bike. To make a long story short the sales guy didn’t give me the time of day. He actually told me to come back when I’m ready to buy a bike and won’t discuss pricing until I’m serious. Got the vibe he didn’t believe I could afford the bike. So I went on my way to another bike shop and walked out with a Giant Trance Pro Advanced zero model. Go ahead and see what that bike goes for. The other bike shop was friendly and helpful. When I shared this story with the other sales guy he said it perfectly. You can never guess some of the people who will drop 10k on a bike.
Try to find a set of handlebars, and rear view mirrors and the sales person did not want to help me would not even let me in the store. Only one other customer in the store the law states five customers at a time during Covid
So my son has been saving up like crazy to buy this $520 bike. I see they have the bike he wants in stock. We buy it on line with "pickup later today. " We PAID IN FULL FOR THE BIKE ONLINE! We drive all the way out there two hours later to pick up the bike we ALREADY PAID FOR and they say its gone! Are you kidding me? To make up for our trouble, what do they offer us, a free air pump - Nope. A spare inner tube - nope. A patch kit - nope. Not even a $3 water bottle! NOTHING. The best they would do is say we MIGHT have more in stock in 10 days. Stay away from this place.
