This place has the BEST customer service. They were super flexible with holding bikes and worked with us on everything. Hands down the Best bike shop experience I’ve ever had.

We have purchased a few bikes here. They are a great dealer and are very helpful. There prices are a little higher than the local shops but they know what they are doing.

Purchased 2 specialized bikes from this place worst first service experience. Completely non professional.stay away if you can. I know it's not possible as bike shortage everywhere.

I needed to replace my worn out cleats. I couldn't remove the stripped bolts. I stopped by to see if they could help. They did. Thanks to the young dude there, I didn't get his name. Thanks again!

I am going to try to be as fair as possible and start by saying that most of the interactions with the staff of this store were positive and helpful. Yet the overall negligence in their service cost me a lot of time and resulted in virtually nothing being improved on my bike.

I dropped off my bike on the week of June 26th due to a broken derailleur and was told it was going to be ready by July 7th, which was no problem for me as I was going to go on vacation until the 9th. So I decided to make use of the situation and ordered a full tune-up along with installing the new piece on the bike. The agreement was made, I even offered to pay in advance so that the transaction would go smoothly as soon as I got back there.

I got there on July 9th (they had two extra days to fix my bike), and after a long wait, I was told that my bike was not ready yet, that it turned out that they ordered the wrong piece, and that in turn they would give me a used one, but of much better quality for a much cheaper price. I was fine with this, and thanked them for their honesty. The were very apologetic and even gave me an extra inner tube on the house to make up for the whole incident. I paid them, and as I am loading my bike, I noticed that it does not look as clean and tight as it should if I had received a full tune up. I then looked at the receipt, and noticed they did not charge me for a tune up, which means that they even forgot I ordered it!

I am originally from NYC and was flying back the next day, so I decided not to take it up with them, giving them some grace because I know that Covid has backed up their services exponentially, and that they may be going through a tough situation as humans and as businesses. I considered writing a review about the whole affair then, but I decided that they had done as best as they could given the circumstances, and that all and all, I was going to be able to use my bike anyways.

Fast forward a week later, I am biking home after a short ride through Brooklyn, and the whole Derailleur guide pulley comes off the bike, getting lost somewhere in the street.

This is evidence of rushed and negligent work, and they denied to refund me because I am obviously not RSM and they cannot solve the problem in person.

I am not saying these guys are bad, they are actually very kind and have good intentions. I am saying that they need way better systems to organize and track their servicing, as these situations could have been easily avoided if they were clear about their servicing capacity, rather than trying to make as much money with as much servicing volume as they could. As I continue to travel between NYC and RSM with my bike, I will stay away from this store in particular. And I would recommend you do the same if you are looking for service that is timely, a that keeps their promises when it comes to quality and expectations.

Rock N Road is my go to shop. Non judgmental attitude and friendly staff. They have saved me more than once when I needed something quick and fast.

The best. They go out of there way to help. I went there looking for a mountain bike, i asked for a recommendation they gave me a few to try. Ended up buying 2 bikes!

Fast forward 8 months later and this is now my regular go-to for all my bike repairs and upgrades. Yesterday I bought a brand new bike from them - the team (Collin in particular) were so helpful and patient and I'm really happy with my purchase.

Great place to stop in for repairs on your road bike. Very friendly customer service, helpful as well as to finding what you need, definitely a great place to service your bikes needs.

I dropped off my bike for service. I was very happy with the price quote for the repair. I had been to this location multiple times for repairs and purchasing multiple bikes.

They were backed up and had to order parts and the first available time to work on my bike was 2 weeks out. I took it due to their past good work.

Three weeks went by and no word so I stopped in to check on my bike. They had all the parts and apologized for the bike not being fixed. It was late in the day and they promised it would be done first thing the next day. They would call when it was done.

A week later and still no call. I stopped in again and no one had touched it. They apologize again and again I was told it would get done.

A week later no call. I stopped in again and they apologized and now it was missing a part it need for repairs. I was told they would give me a discount on the labor for the delay and being understanding. I was told it would be done during that next week.

It has been a week and still no call. I still don’t have my bike back.

I have never had a disagreement with the employees and they have been nothing but helpful.

At some point I will get my bike back and will never return to this shop.

I highly discourage anyone from any further use of the repair shop at this store. The bike prices are good but DO NOT go to this location if you need anything else.

Update: I posted this review and then went into the shop. They had all the parts and again apologized and promised it would be done today. I actually received a call saying it was done and went to get it.

For all my time (6 weeks the bike was in the shop) and trouble they gave me a whopping 10% off the bill.

Everything seems to be in good working order.

Been to this location a few times for misc repairs. These guys are awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable and over the top helpful!
