Rock On Pizza East Coast Style Thin Crust, Escondido CA

I highly recommend the Philly cheesesteaks at Rock On. I grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia, and these cheesesteaks are EXACTLY like the ones I would get back home. They are not traditional cheesesteaks with whiz on Amarosa rolls. They are better, in my opinion. They make their bread fresh daily, and it's more like pizza dough bread. Delicious. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed.

The Italian hoagie is great, and the pizza is good, but the cheesesteaks are the best.

Fyi, the place is very small, so plan to get your food to go as seating is limited.

The pizza is GREAT, so are the sandwiches and I am always amazed by the number of hot looking ladies buying their famous salads! My neighbor, Herb recommended this place. I will be back soon

By far the best pizza in Escondido and I’ll go as far as saying in San Diego! Born and raised in Jersey (save the jokes for later), and this is the closest east coast style pizza I’ve had in CA. Victor and the guys working there are top notch. My family and I only go here now for pies. It’s worth trying out!

I'm sure this is an okay restaurant if I had nowhere to be. Unfortunately, I waited 30 minutes for a single entrée before I was told that my food would be another 10 minutes. Sadly, I had a time constraint and could not wait for a total of 40 minutes for a single meal to be prepared when the restaurant was far from bustling at around 7pm on a Thursday. I didn't request a refund despite not receiving my food as my meal total was only $10, but I can't recommend coming here if you need a quick bite to eat.

Love this place! Great food, not just pizza but subs, wings, breadsticks all delicious! Lunch specials are generous and inexpensive!

I love the mild wings here! They have great thin crust pizza that I miss from Philly this is the best as it gets here in Esco. The lunch specials are great too, especially with the bomb Italian sub

9/11-update… this is the 3rd time I ordered through Grub Hub between the hours of 3: 15-5pm in which the restaurant cancels the order and Grub hub says they closed. Go on there website and they are open. Call to see if they can deliver no answer. Friend of mine live in that area says they are open, So while their pizza is good, their service is not! Just state you do not deliver during those hours!

I love finding places like this, accidentally! Was coming to golf and had a half hour to kill so cruised through the parking lot and found something to eat for lunch and this place is the bomb!

I really like small restaurants that pump out amazing food. This place has great staff and delicious pizza, pasta and salad.

They missed the Slice order but still had my food ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Food was delicious and we'll definitely be back.

Yummy pizza, friendly service. We're all fans. We head a simple pepperoni pizza. The sauce was great, so was the crust, and the pepperoni was excellent.

This place started out really good as you can tell from the reviews from months ago. However, it has gone down hill recently. Last few times we ordered was bad. The girl who answers the phone is clueless. It takes much longer for delivery than before even being late. Last night our pizza was burnt, over cooked and dry and our salad was far from fresh! I guess the have a new crew running the place. Looks like they will run it into the ground.

Complete ineptitude Don't bother. They used to be my go to, now they are practically useless. The new employees are hapless, dont check their door dash ticker and offer nothing in return for their terrible customer service. Ordered an hour before attempting to pickup order, they never updated the status and upon my arrival, couldn't find my order. After sifting through tickets, turns out they hadnt even seen the order. They offered no concession for the mistake. Instead they offered for me to wait 25 minutes.
