Rockin' Baja Lobster - Old Town, San Diego CA

Staff was perfectly on point and the food was excellent. Only issue was that we were out of towners and wished we didn't wait until the last night to eat there

We just happened upon this place while walking through old Town. This was the BEST meal we had while in San Diego! Service was amazing and the food was fantastic! Try the street corn dip!

From the very beginning the food was awful they start you off with salsa and chips all three of the salsas gross the corn salsa like curdled milk the little tail Lobster they brought me was still Raw the rice is dry overpriced for horrible food I will never go there again

This place used to be my favorite San Diego place for Mexican food with a twist, not anymore. The epic burrito was an over priced cabbage stuffed tortilla. We didn't even get our full order. It was only 2 items. Nothing special. Didn't complain to the staff cause I thought it would be useless. This was my last time coming here and I will not refer anyone again.

BEWARE: If you dine as a large group expect very little service. We had a group of 11 and recieved 2 baskets of chips, 4 very small salsa cups, no refills during dinner, and recieved tortillas after our meal was finished. Our server Alyssa was too busy with her friends who were leaving, I am guessing it's because she knew she was automatically getting gratuity that was not deserved. I was really looking forward to this dinner with my family from out of state and left disappointed. The food was okay but a bit overpriced for the lack of service.

Our waitress was amazing. Very fast, efficient and friendly! Since it was lunchtime, we got seated right next to the fountain. A table over, two ladies got a bucket of tasties to split. We'll be back to try that on a dinner date! ️

Food was great and came out quick. Atmosphere is wonderful and all the staff was very attentive. Very casual, worth the stop when in Old Town San Diego.

This place is my favorite spot to go for special occasions! Make sure you make a reservation, though! It gets busy but it’s worth it. I always get the bucket of crab legs and my husband gets the bucket of lobster tails. They give you all sorts of sides that I can never get to because I’m so full from the crab. It’s all so delicious and seasoned with Baja seasoning. So yummy!

Great flavor. My wife enjoyed her meal. Me being vegan, I didn't eat much, but I understood that when I walked in. The drinks were good and the decor was nice.

Visiting friends in San Diego. They promised me a treat and believe me Rockin Baja delivered! Lobster buckets were to die for. Calamari appetizer was delish. Atmosphere and staff were friendly and fun. Will be coming here the next time I visit San Diego.

My fiance and I were visiting from Arizona and wanted to eat here. It was a GREAT choice. The service was great and the food was amazing. After our appetizer, we could have shared an entrée. It was alot of food! We will definitely be going back!

Tbh, the food was mediocre. The service was great. And I think it's a little overpriced.

Chris our server was excellent. He went above and beyond our expectations on the service provided. He was also very attentive. Great job overall.

Honestly could not have been more pleased. Short wait as walk ins, excellent service, ample servings of deliciously prepared food, packed but not a blip or blemish - loved it!

Love this place. Enjoy the South of Border feel and vibe and the best Baja inspired seafood meal you can have.
